I've actually been pretty lucky this summer, in that most of my plants aren't getting eaten too badly. But I noticed a ton of holes in peas lately. My insect repellant is a combo of garlic and mint Dr Bronners. I think it works? Anyone have any other repellants that work?

I used crushed red pepper and water in a spray bottle. It keeps the squirrels and birds away, and seems to keep the bugs at bay too.

I have tried all sorts of ratios of garlic, cayenne, and mint and lavender Dr B's, but they never worked, plus they always seem to ruin my spray bottles, even if it strain the solution well.

Get some Bt! It has done amazing things for my plants.
