Whooo boy, first harvest for me! Ruby Streaks Mizuna Mustard... so good! Plum Purple Radishes, and an unknown onion I just found laying on my plot when I was weeding. I made me a salad! The lighting in this pic is terrible so you can't tell, but the mustard is so richly red it's amazing. Now let's see your harvests!

Aren't early harvests great?! I love spring. I've gotten a couple from my garden so far, all self-seeded or bi/perennial. Yay for no-work gardening! swiss chard and arugula: mache: mint, cilantro & chives: I'm looking forward to a nice big radish harvest this weekend.

Once again, Jessica--so jealous for early tomatoes! We have some in the greenhouse, but we won't have any outside for a while.

Such great harvests my green thumb friends. It has been so cold here the only thing I have harvested is one crop of radishes. I planted them at the end of march and they weren't ready until the first week of May!

I harvested a mess of greens and snow peas last night. Lilies are getting ready to bloom, roses are heavy.

Haha, I love Mr. Pizza-face.
I'm harvesting bucketloads of strawberries this week. (ok, maybe not bucketloads, but a lot!) I can hardly believe it since a lot of my strawberry plants got killed in the heatwaves last year. I can't imagine how many I would have had if that hadn't happened!
Strawberries are so great. So little work, so much enjoyment.
Pictures will follow as soon as I can find the time for uploading.

Some of the same yes, Mustard and Radish... However! Carrots! Some Swiss Chard! Also, all those herbs! Everything in here is from my garden! Yes I am very excited about it! It's because I have never had a garden before!

I was going to update my last post with the link to the salads I made from it all, but I guess it is too late to edit? Anyway, here it is: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=11525&p=307411#p307411

Congrats everyone! We had some swiss chard already but I didn't take any pics of it. We have lettuce right now but I don't plan on picking it because I don't like the kind that was planted. I've got TONS of parsley though. So much of it that I have some of it strung up to dry.

Jessica--that haul! Peas are spent, put them to rest. Cockscomb is out of control with growth. Harvested an entire tupperware tub full of random greens, thinned turnips, and dill. Star gazers are getting ready to bloom, so I'll get to see them before they move. Anyone ever harvested their sunchokes early?

Wow, everything looks great. We harvested about five radishes so far, and some endive. Soon there will be arugala, hopefully more radishes, peas, and other greens. My garden seems to be kind of far behind most of yours, but we had an unexpected cold night kill some cucumbers, squash, and others, so had to reseed some areas. This is my first year with a garden, and its going ok so far. I'll have pics up later.

Today: couple of japanese eggplants, big-ass zucchini, regular eggplant, bell pepper, "pizza" pepper, bunch of roma tomatoes, and a handful of rainbow bells tomatoes. also cut a giant ziploc bag full of basil to give to my physical therapist as a bribe... didn't work.

Jessica, you are rockin' that garden! I'd post more pics, but they're all the same: greens, greens greens! (sing to the tune of "Girls, Girls, Girls" by Motley Crue. My tomatoes are starting to get blossoms, and I'm growing some accidental tomatillos!

Jessica, what a lovely harvest!
I'm getting ready to go pick some kale, chard, and red leaf lettuce. It's the only thing that's ready now, other than a few baby strawberries. I can't wait until more stuff is ready.
