And sadly its not a happy thing. I've only caught it in action once but there is a bunny that comes by every night and eats my plants. I'm not sure how to get rid of it. Any bunny-proofing ideas?
Good fencing (I think 18" is about high enough) and/or a dog. Bunnies are cute, but I share your pain. As soon as we fenced out deer, the rabbits came, and it wasn't designed to exclude them.

Just wanted to say... I really like the juxtaposition of your situation and your screen name. Haha! Hope you figure it out soon though!

Chicken wire works great, just make sure that you dig a trench and also line it with the wire to prevent them digging their way in. We had a problem with rabbits when we grew our first garden and had to fence it. Just make sure you make a gate and keep it closed. My boyfriend left it open one night and, when I went down the next day, the cutest tiny bunny was in there!

if you have a dog or access to a dog, dog hair is supposed to work. ive heard people say to get mesh bags and stuff dog hair in them and stake them around.
i dont have any mesh bags so i just groom my dogs over near my garden and we havent had any nibblers since.
dog pee would probably be even more effective if you can get your dog to pee near your garden but not actually in it. not sure how one would accomplish that though.
