One of my guilty pleasures is reading books and blogs about urban/backyard/etc. homesteading, but I'm getting a little tired of the obligatory chapter on raising livestock (especially when the author admits it was one disaster after another). Any recommendations on something like like this, but from a vegan-friendly perspective? Or maybe a good gardening memoir to read? I'm looking for a little inspiration while I'm waiting for my own garden to get on with producing more food. Thanks!
