I downsized to 1/4 of what I had at one point but I'm still so excited for this year's garden. If everything grows the way I hope, it is going to be beautiful!! The way things have been going the past few years that is a big if though. Here's hoping!

Image

I just planted everything yesterday so it doesn't look like much now. But from left to right I've got:
    sweet million cherry tomato
    sweet italian pepper
    jalapeno
    sweet italian pepper
    basil
    rutgers tomato

Off to the far right are some herbs (cilantro, chives and dill) and butter lettuce that were growing wild in random places in my yard from last year so I replanted them all in this new spot.

Just tonight I planted fairy tale (small striped purple) and gretel (mini white) eggplants in the middle, plus empress of india nasturtiums. Finally a french thyme in the left corner to balance with the chives in the far right corner.

I ordered some trombochino squash seeds that should arrive in the next few days. They'll grow up the trellis in the back, with some velvet queen sunflowers on each end of the trellis.

I'm also going to plant a few borage flowers in front of the tomatoes.

I can't wait until August!!

And today's harvest (in the shape of a funny face, I think it looks like a dog)

Mini eggplants, italian pepper and a newly ripe tomato.
