Yeah let us know if you are coming, how many, what days and sleeping preference. Some people have sleeping hammock but we should also have room to sleep in a tent.
Lycophyte, are you going to sleep over any days or does working preclude that?

Well if there is room I think Saturday would be do-able. I don't work til 9:30 sunday, so it won't be painfully early. I"m off Monday so if people are staying Sunday night I'm in!

In other news, I found the Veganstock banner while packing so it will be flying loud and proud this year. It is already in a special Veganstock box with Toby's gift.

I'd like to meet you guys for dinner again but as far as camping goes I will be working all weekend so I can't. I might stop by the campsite sat or sun though too. Let me know when you guys are going to rosettas.

Yay! This isn't completely confirmed yet, but my mom might be coming out Sunday and Monday nights. I'm not sure who will still be around those days.

Oh and we are also bringing a couple extra sleeping bags. Not sure if Friday needs one but figure it is always good to have anyway. So excited! We checked out the camping gear today just to make sure we have everything in one area.

Are we planning to eat out on Friday night? Johnp is in town and up for meeting people for dinner or possibly having people out to his place. I was thinking we could perhaps all venture out to different eateries if desired and then rendevous at The Hop for dessert? We'd have roughly 14 people.

Yeah I figured Friday night would be a good day for that. I was hoping for Rosettas but open to anything. Would laughing Seed be better for that many of us?

I don't think there is anywhere that is great for that many people. Which is why I thought we could split up to different venues and meet up later for dessert. Or at the same place but we'd still be at different tables.

I realize I haven't planned for a ride at the airport. I've just assumed I'd walk out of the plane and someone would be holding a veganstock sign. My flight gets in at 2. Extra bagels for whoever can pick me up.

However, if you don't have a definite before you leave tomorrow, email me on facebook and I'll see what I can do to push up our time table so we can get you.

http://www.mountainx.com/events/detail/ ... f-the-WeekHere is a link for the info. You would want to leave the Powhatan area by 9:15 or so to be there on time. Take a hike with rangers up to Fryingpan Tower. Along the way we will seek out summer wildflowers. At the summit, learn about the history of the Fryingpan tower and life of a fire lookout. Afterwards, you can climb the stairs and take in the 360° view of a fire lookout. Meet at the Fryingpan trail pullout at MP 409.6, 1mile south of Pisgah Inn. There is a gravel Forest Service road blocked by a gate; park in this area but please do not park in front of the gate. Bring water and wear sunscreen and good walking shoes. Be prepared for varying weather conditions, including rain, wind or fog. Call (828) 298-5330, ext 304, for details
