Two awesome longtime vegan friends of mine are driving from NJ for a weekend of hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains, and would really appreciate a place to crash in Asheville if you could spare it this Friday.

They'd arrive around 11 and leave early so as to stock up with provisions for their hike.

If they can't find a couch, I would suggest:

http://www.sweetpeashostel.com/ cheap, city center, clean and you can prepare your meals there.
(downside is that it's above a bar so there can be noise in the evenings)

other experience: Town house Motel, 141 Tunnel Road (45-60 a night)

Well, we have a futon here. They would have to share it though if they both want to sleep on a bed.

They would also get to stay with a ranger who used to work in the Smokies :p
