Did I already say that Bar Stillwell always as an (interesting, rotating, seasonal!) vegan option? Their chef is so talented!

I tried the new envie menu for lunch but the dinner menu is more exciting...can't wait.

I just had a vegan banh mi the other day in Lunenburg. Rannnnndom.

Oh BTW Chives will do you up a GORGEOUS vegan meal. We went there for my birthday and I was blown away.

Anyone been to that Blue Apples place? It seems pretty woo but I would eat vegan food!

I have been to Blue Apple my friend Jeff is their chef. He is basically a witch he made gluten free seitan!

I like it the place, but similar to heartwood they focus on avoiding salt/cane sugar although his donair sauce is fantastic.
Also Liv's Formosa's remains amazing.

Does anyone know where to get plain vegan yogurt in Dartmouth or HRM?

He is a great chef! I didn't have the greatest experience there but I trust they're still working out the kinks. (They brought my meal in styrofoam though I specified to stay, got my husband's order wrong twice, and there was some hair in both our meals). Normally I don't really care about any of those things and I'm sure they'll improve. :) The food was pretty tasty.

I still haven't been to Liu's Formosa! But I am working in Bedford for the next six months so I think I'll get there. Speaking of Bedford, Jumping Bean is amazing. They have the best tofu scramble wrap and a coconut BLT and milkshakes and everything. They use Chao. Pretty amazing for a coffee shop that used to be a Starbucks.

I am bumping this thread because my heart is still heavy from the form closing news. I know we didn't get a whole lot of bigger meet ups going but I am back in Dartmouth now (and likely in HRM for the foreseeable future!) so any PPKers in or visiting Halifax area should hit me up and maybe we can do some more meet ups.

I'm here, Bad! We should do a get together. I live in Dartmouth too, downtown. I used to be so busy but now I actually have free time.

The Halifax vegan group is pretty cool for the most part. I've been to a lunch and a picnic with them.
