Hi folks!
So, after much consideration, I think I may be allowing myself to soon be persuaded by my honey to look at loving to the Kamloops/Kwlowna area. We would be moving from Edmonton-ish, Alberta.
B.C in general has been in our sights for the "five-year plan", BUT. We love Vancouver Island! I know going to Kamloops is closer than we are now, but's it's definitely no Van. Isle! Don't get me wrong, we love a lot that B.C. has to offer...hell, with relatives in Kimberley area, we don't even mind Cranbrook. But my question is, how do people that are fans of an ocean-view find it living in B.C.'s interior?? How is it for vegan-freindly-ness around there? In the Okanagan can't be too bad, right? Fruit and all....convince me!

Kelowna has more to offer than Kamloops in the vegan realm but isn't a vegan paradise. If you love wine and love visiting wineries then you'll love living in Kelowna. Lots of great fruit too. And you're only 4-5 hour drive away to Vancouver.

Van Isle!!!!!!

I was born in Kamloops. It's kind of worse than Cranbrook (and I grew up near Cranbrook in Lethbridge and still don't hate it!). But Kelowna is much better. Both have gorgeous summers!

Kamloops isn't very vegan friendly. Kelowna isn't bad! I like the interior a lot. But Van Isle! :)
