Hey guys,
I'm currently studying occupational therapy in Edmonton and my program requires me to do 5 6-week long placements. I could be sent anywhere in Alberta and Saskatchewan, and possibly NWT. In fact, we are required to do at least one of our placements in a rural location. So, pretty much I need to find somewhere to live for six weeks; hopefully free-ish. I don't mind couches. Anyone have any connections or live in rural Alberta?

I have parents in Lethbridge who have room! Their house was recently renovated due to a flood. Not sure if Lethbridge is rural enough, though.

Yeah, Lethbridge actually counts! Much to the horror of many of my classmates who were raised in very small communities, anything <100,000 and >50km from a major urban centre counts for the program. If I end up in Lethbridge, I will be in touch. Thanks!

Sweet! There are worse small communities to be in than Lethbridge. They even have some vegan-friendly restaurants, shockingly. I have lots of friends there too so do let me know! :)
