Does So Delicious coconut milk coffee creamer exist in Vancouver? I found some in Saskatoon and I've never seen it at home. The hazelnut flavour is awesome!

I haven't seen any So Delicious creamer but I have noticed that Superstores are carrying Tofurkey pizzas! Something so bad for me, and yet so delicious, should not be this readily available. Also super excited for the Port Moody eatery, I walk my dogs at the Barnet park all the time so I have an excuse to swing by.

I'm glad to hear that because I never made it in this weekend. I just realised about an hour ago that I was supposed to do that. But I'll try to get it crossed off my to-do list early this week...
Why isn't a PPK Vancouver meet-up being arranged by the way? I thought you guys did those all the time!

They have the coconut creamers in Victoria, so I imagine they are probably stocking them at Choices and/or Whole Foods/Capers.
You guys need to organize the meetups! I'm sad that they are not happening. Though Vegan Prom YVR should be considered a meetup since infrequent PPKers but awesome mishka and epicurvegan are organizing it!

We could do a mini-meet up before the Prom too, if people are interested and it won't be too expensive.
Also I think one of the things about meet-ups is it seems like half of the 'Vancouver PPK' are islanders and it is hard for them to get to Vancouver. So how about a Vancouver Island meet up? I say we crash the Joint in Victoria so we can check out Sarah Kramer's shop while we are there. Vancouverites, we could carpool over via the tawassan ferry. So, thoughts on this?

Sorry to be a fake Vancouver PPKer. I did live in the city for a few years, I promise! :)
But anyway, I'd definitely meet up with you guys in Victoria! Every time I head down to Sarah's shop it's closed, but I think that's just my bad timing.

I didn't mean you guys were fake, I just meant that Vancouver PPK encompasses a lot more then just Vancouver, in a good way, and it doesn't seem fair that islanders keep having to face the dreaded ferries all the time when you guys are as much a part of Vancouver PPK as the vancouver dwellers. Plus I want to visit the Joint and my sister doesn't live in Victoria anymore so I need a new excuse.

I was just kidding. You're totally right that us non-Vancouverites definitely hang out in this thread (Hi Josh!). And the Vancouver PPK core seems to evolve a lot.
I've never had more than a cookie at the Joint so plan your trip over and I'll be there!

A) You can get prom tickets online now. It's longwinded but I'm halfway though this process.
B) Mom's Grilled Cheese foodtruck on Howe outside the VAG does Daiya and the product is AMAZING. I'm blogging pics/dool later. I'm SO full I'm gonna barf. (In a good way.)
C) I'm down for a meet-up before YVR Prom. Even if we're the only recruits!

Canuck, this sounds like a good excuse to hit up the Pizza Jerk before prom.

I wasn't sure and I've been unintentionally offending a lot of people lately so I figured I'd just be safe.
We just need to recruit more people and we shall all meet at the big yellow Joint.

Haha! Oh man, tonight was too much fun. Here is that artist I was trying to think of the name of all night:
This is one of her more rock songs. Also burger looks yummmy!

I went to Grub for my bday! It was so incredibly good!!! Holy moly! The only person who didn't love it was forced to sort of cobble a meal together because they are not good on gluten free stuff. But otherwise, SO GOOD!

Well you guys did an amazing job planning it and putting it together. The place looking amazing, the food was yummy, and the environment was really fun and accepting; it was way better then any other prom out there. Can't wait for next year!

It's seriously great to hear that. We worked so hard to make the event open and accepting (the organising committee is filled with women who are queer and/or fat-positive and able-aware) so I'm glad that came through. We were close to canceling last weekend because ticket sales were so low that we worried about being able to pay the hall rental fees, but everyone really pulled through during the last week. We still had to cut some corners, but hopefully it wasn't noticeable and I think we managed to not take a financial hit. So, yay! And, christ - it was so much fun that I don't think we can get away with NOT having another next year :)

It was awesome seeing so many vegans from so many different paths of life together in one room and everyone just having fun partying together (also gender neutral bathrooms flicks the weasel). If you guys had to cut corners it didn't show at all, the place looked amazing! I was expecting a hall with some streamers, balloons, and a banner, but you guys went all out. And you definitely can't get away with not having another one, even if one wasn't planned I think everyone would still show up at the hall dressed in their best clothes and dancing shoes (at least I would).
