Hello Canadians & anyone else reading this!

I posted a similar note over in the Vancouver forum that so far has gone without reply & so I'm trying here now. I'm planning a trip up to southern BC in a few weeks. I'd love your suggestions for anywhere up that way but particularly for the Nelson & Kelowna areas. What do you suggest that I see, do, eat, etc?

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

I know Nelson's full of hippies so I think there are a fair number of veggie options, but I haven't been in many, many years so I've got nothing.

Hippy & fairly Vegan friendly indeed. How did you pass your time when you were there many, many years ago?

Oh, I have no idea. I was a child. My stepsister WOOFed up there, though, and really enjoyed it. Lots of music (especially in the summer, there are a few festivals) and outdoor activities.

Woohoo! I found a vegan-friendly vegetarian workers cooperative cafe up there: http://www.kootenaybakerycafe.com
