The vegan and raw food competition is tonight at the Denver County Fair! I will be in the Farm & Garden Pavilion repping Denver Urban Gardens, so come say hi if you go.

in sept i'll be in denver for 1/2 a day visiting DU and colorado springs for 4 days visiting family. anywhere i should go? i'll have a car.

Go to City O or Watercourse in Denver, and Adam's Mountain Cafe or Trinity Brewing in the springs. And definitely go to the Garden of the Gods.

Is City O' City closed right now? I'm heading northwards this week, and was going to check out their menu online - their website has a message on the front page about a makeover.

Yeah, City O' is closed until September. Watercourse has a lot of the same menu items, though.

Drag. I hope it's back up and running by the 8th, as we're Front Range bound, and I want a No. 5.

Hey Denver peeps! Eppy's Dungeon Master and I are taking a last minute trip out there next week. Just Thursday night -Mon morning We're staying in Highlands Ranch with our friends and their new baby and we won't have a car, but we are definitely going to try to get to Watercourse. Eppy's DM is sad that city o city is closed and he can get the rocket salad! but as long as we can get onion rings and wings it's all good. I'm going to post here when we know when we'll be heading into Denver and maybe we can work out a meet up of some sort. I hope we can work something out, but I know it'll be super last minute, so if not I'll just see you all next Summer when we move there (wishful thinking...)

I am going to be in your city this weekend and next week for a conference and wondered if you might have some suggestions for where I can find Beet Box treats (or other vegan sweets [and in particular cupcakes!]) in the downtown (near the convention center) area? No car, but am happy to walk to find good treats.

As for Beet Box, I'm not sure of anything downtown, but I will keep an ear out for you.

You can get Beet Box at Crema, Yellow Feather, Fluid, Paris on the Platte, and sometimes the cafe in the Museum of Contemporary Art. But if you are looking for cupcakes I would just go to City, O' City or Watercourse.
