But you're missing Neat Market! We should hang out anyway.

i missed so many things, only being there for a few days and having to spend most of my time with math teachers...

i did meet your man, though, at nooch and called him by the wrong name because a justin's PB cup pushed that J-name into my head.

next time? i am back on my "i need to move to denver" flow.

Yes! Next time. Also, I'm sorry about all the weed.

I have an nearly 10 hour layover in Denver today. I'm escaping the airport to see how much Watercourse and City O'City I can eat in one day. A lot. The answer is a lot.

For an overnight layover in Denver, where would the best place to stay be, with access to great veg stuff of course?

I ended up staying at a Towneplace Suites because they have in room kitchens. I drove to City O City and Nooch. On the layover the first part of our trip we went to Watercourse and an Ethiopian place. Denver was pretty yummy. Those wings at City were huge though. Could feed a small army. The cashew cheese mediterranean olive pizza and caesar salad were delish! The Ethiopian place was great but I can't remember the name. You are doing pretty well for yourself, Denver!

Was the Ethiopian place called Axum? On Colfax? Never was there, just drove by all the time.

Not sure. My husband drove there and I wasn't paying attention. I think it was on Colfax, but there were a few in the area.

There are approximately 8,000 Ethiopian restaurants on Colfax, and I never remember any of their names. Except for the one that is actually called Ethiopian Restaurant.

Bumping this to say dangggg city o city is good. I ate a ton of food and got a lemon bar to go for breakfast this morning. I was in town for a short work trip but I want to come back for fun!

My next meeting in Denver is a year from now. Wish I could revisit sooner. A lemon bar sounds good.

Yeah, I saw this via Westword. It looks connected to some drama they had with the now former head chef?

I am ashamed to have only learned this recently. So awesome! Denver isn't a super vegan-friendly city for how healthy it's inhabitants supposedly tend to be, but Watercourse no longer plopping cheese on otherwise awesome food is a huge boon!

Do any current Denver folks still post here?

I'm going this summer for a convention and am thinking of staying some extra days for fun and want to know if people would hang out with me if I did!
