Texas VegFest is celebrating it's FIFTH year on Saturday, April 2nd at Fiesta Gardens in Austin, Texas (2100 Jesse E. Segovia St).

Mark your calendars, you don't want to miss out on any of the free activities we have in store for YOU!

Texas VegFest is a free public education event that celebrates the health, environmental, and animal welfare benefits of a plant-based diet. The fifth annual Texas VegFest is scheduled for Saturday, April 2nd, 2016 in Austin, TX at Fiesta Gardens between 11am and 6pm. Texas Veg Fest is orchestrated by Texas Veg Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate individuals on the health, environmental, and animal welfare benefits of a plant-based diet using public events as a tool.

Our team has some amazing speakers, sponsors, vendors, nonprofits, and activities lined up for our 5th year celebration. Please be sure to stop by the Animal Legal Defense Fund, The Stanford Inn by the Sea, VegNews, Natural Epicurean, Herbivore Clothing, Capital City Bakery, Austin Bhakti Yoga, Vitamix, Barefoot Chiropractic booths to say THANK YOU for sponsoring our 5th annual event!

We have a full line-up of inspirational, engaging, and informative presenters for 2016! Olympic Skier, Actor, and Writer, Seba Johnson is presenting along with The "Naked Chef" Jacques Laventure, William Rivas-Rivas with the Animal Legal Defense Fund, Physician and Author Brooke Goldner, M.D., The Taco Cleanse Scientist, and Jessican Pavs from the Natural Epicurean. Presentations begin at 11:30amon the Fiesta Garden side. Be sure to grab a seat!

Looking for live music and cold beer in a fantastic environment? Don't miss out on our local craft beer collection as you sit on the hill by the music stage overlooking the water! Enjoy tunes from The Jetsuns,One World (R)Evolution, Seven Circles, and BeVvy! We are also excited to announce the first ever Texas VegFest fashion show, featuring items from Kat Mendenhall, V Apparel, and Cykochik designs!

Enjoy delicious food and find fantastic products in our main area. You're not going to want to miss whatSweet Ritual, Hemp 360, Rabbit Food Grocery, Counter Culture, Seed Catering Co., BBQ Revolution,Redbud Roasters, Compassion Co, Michele's Granola, and over 50 participants are offering at Texas VegFest 2016!

Texas VegFest ALSO has a free youth area including zumba, yoga, face-painting, henna, seed-ball making, animal education lectures, cooking demos, and more. Be sure to bring the whole family!
