I learned to not be very trusting about the fish sauce thing at small-town restaurants but I actually have yet to give any Vancouver Thai spots a chance. Any know any places than can make a mean vegan coconut curry?

I quite like Aree Thai. There's a place called Thailicious I think who know what veganism is. It's not the best Thai but it delivers and it'll do.

Oh my god you guys, I still dream about Maenam (in Kits)'s coconut wild mushroom soup. And the banana blossom salad! I think they might be the only veganizable options, but they are SO delicious and unlike any other Thai cuisine I've tasted anywhere.
