I love it too! I was just thinking on the bus on my way to the food fest today that we need to go there again...

I went there on probably the hottest night since I arrived and they have no air conditioning so I literally had rivulets of sweat running down my entire body. It was kind of horrible. BUT on a cool day I would be totally down to meet up with folks!

I'm not sure yet if Veg_Eric will want to travel to Toronto once he arrives at our place in London, but if so, would anyone be around for a meetup next weekend? Hogtown or some other such?

I'm around most of the weekend! Saturday night is the veggie drinks monthly meetup in Toronto, but other than that I'm free.

You mean Sept 14th/15th or 21st/22nd? Either way, I should be free and interested!

Not sure yet IF we're going to be in Toronto this weekend and if so, whether it will be Friday or Saturday! Sorry for the lack of plans! I'll post in here once I know, and if anyone's available, we can meet up at Hogtown :)

This weekend is going to be pretty busy for me with lots of errands and it's also my sister's birthday but once you folks know when you're coming into the city maybe post and I'll see if I can work around it and make it. I'd love to see everyone and I love Hogtown Vegan!

My bike broke down and now is in a repair shop waiting to be looked at.

(closest Yamaha related shop is a shop that seems like it mostly does lawnmowers....)

They hope they've got time to look at it this afternoon or tomorrow morning. So unfortunately at this point I can't say when I'll be in London :(

Alright, V_E's bike has been fixed and he'll be in London tomorrow! We're going to take him to Toronto Saturday...so what time would work for people? I'm going to start an actual thread for this incase people aren't reading this thread!

Hi Everybody, I'm here!

Can people tell me about vegan frozen yogurt options? This city is bizarrely full of frozen yogurt and the internet says a few offer vegan options!

Does anyone know if Menchie's has a vegan option? One just opened near Yonge & College and there is a Groupon for them today, but the internet isn't very clear on whether they have a non-dairy froyo.

They have a non-dairy option (that I assume but am not 100% sure is vegan) but I have to say, it always tastes super artificial. I think I've been twice now and kind of regretted it both times. Yogen-Fruz does vegan yogurt that actually tastes tart and creamy like yogurt.

Thanks!

I didn't know about Yogen Fruz! I work beside a mall with a movie theatre that has a Yogen Fruz, I wonder if they have it, I'm going to check it out!
