 Post subject: Ingrid Newkirk on Thurs... hmmm..?

I've been tossing around the idea of going to see Newkirk speak. It seems like it could be a very interesting evening. Of course, there's also the chance that it's going to an uber depressing night of puppy vivisection slide shows, in which case I'd rather take my dwindling cash to a bar.
These are the big life questions.
Do I risk going somewhere where I might be inspired, outraged or affected for better or worse or do I stick with what I know and opt to help put the bartender at my local through college one more night..?
Hmmm.... thoughts?

Unfortunately I didn't hear about this event until a couple of days ago when the TVA posted it on their FB page. I wish I had heard about it sooner.
