I got to go today! It was pretty cool. They let my friend and I sample all the things that were reasonably sample-able. She fell in love with the "tuna" salad and I loved the chick*un shawarma. I was super excited for the carrot lox, and when I walked in it certainly LOOKED like lox. The texture is even about right but it's not quite close enough to scratch the itch, for me. It is yummy and different though. They also had a spicy chick*un, Mongolian "beef", and the no pork pulled pork was pretty neat (basically cole slaw in BBQ sauce, which I will make at home for sure).

My lox came with cashew sour cream and my shawarma came with a yummy vegenaise aioli. Prepared sandwiches will be available in the next couple weeks.

Also, I bought Sheese. There was a ton of flavours and I was too excited to not buy one ($7.50, yikes). It is SO WORTH IT, the rumours are true, this is vegan cheese I can eat on a cracker. I bought the sharp cheddar.

Obviously none of this stuff is cheap but it was a fun trip and I don't regret the money I spent.

Sheese is delicious. I love the cheddar and chive flavor! They have it at Organic Garage in Oakville and even though it's a bit pricy, it's a great treat and I love it on crackers!

Getting back on topic, I need to go to Yam Chops! It sounds wonderful!
