Hi guys! I'm going to be in TO again from February 23rd until March 2nd. I'd love to meet up for dinner/drinks or brunch if anyone's up for it! I know this is way in advance, but I thought I'd throw it out there already.

Yes! I leave Feb 27 and I'm gone until Mar 3, but I would love to see you again before I leave!

Cool! I'm pretty flexible in terms of date/time. The only date that might not be best would be the night of the day I arrive (Monday the 23rd) because I'll probably be exhausted and should reserve that night for seeing dad. But any day/evening after that is open!

I may be able to drive down for this if it's a weekend thing! (it's a 2 hour drive to TO from home, so not doable for a weeknight)

I would love to meet you, PPPP! It looks like the weekend that I'm there is the 28th and the 1st (so after Lobsteriffic leaves) but I would totally be up for both a drinks/dinner thing earlier in the week and maybe brunch/lunch one of the weekend days.

So I lied, I actually leave the 25th. So I could meet for dinner on the 24th!

Oops! I just saw this! (Need to check The Square more often.) Dinner on the 24th totally works for me! I'll bump this closer to the time to see if anyone else wants to join either for dinner or a weekend brunchy thing!

Aww, that's too bad, PPPP. It would have been fun to meet you!

So an evening thing on the 24th? Can folks make that? It will be lovely to see you again, Lobsteriffic and seitanicverses, and it's always great meeting new PPKers, MeShell and chimrichalds! (New to me, of course. You guys have been around here longer than I have!)

I can make the 24th - anytime after 5:30 is generally good for me!

Also the 24th is my birthday, and what better way to spend it than hanging with PPKers!:)

PPPP I'm sorry that you won't be there!

The 24th is a Tuesday, AKA the day I am at my office job (Bloor west and Runnymede) so maybe if I don't have to stay too late and I don't have to do any carpooling with Mr Moon and depending on where you guys decide to eat I could possibly join in! Potentially!

I will watch this space.

booooo!!! So I need to see my OB that week and the only time I could get in was on the evening of the 24th!! So I'm going to have to bow out, which makes me super sad. Eat extra yums for me!

Aw man! That's too bad, lobsteriffic! (Aside from not getting to see you, I imagine hanging with PPKers would be a more fun way to spend the evening of your birthday than a doctor's visit. {Oh, and I just realized you're pregnant! Derp! Congratulations!}) We'll have to try again next time I'm in town.

If other folks are still up for something, is the 24th still the best date? We initially picked that because it was the only evening lobsteriffic was still in town durning that week, but if other dates are more convenient, I'm totally open! (I'm basically just there to visit dad, and we don't have specific plans on any date.)

I can still go on the 24th if that's the best date. Also open to another date if that's convenient for others. I think my Feb weekends are still pretty much open at this point if meeting on a weekend day is easier and more folks can make it. <3

I'm still good for either the 24th or another date if it means more folks can join. Any thoughts on where to meet? Any new and exciting places? Or an old favorite? I'm up for just about any place but Fresh. (I love Fresh, but it's really close to my dad's place and we go there a lot when I'm in town because it's so easy.) I still fantasize about Hogtown Vegan but would also love to try some place new.

All I can say is if the 24th stands and it is at Hogtown I will probably be able to come since Hogtown is not far from my office. Plus I have been dying to try it. But, yeah, that's just my weighing in!!

Oh my god! If you haven't been to Hogtown, we should definitely do that! (Plus if it makes it easier for you to join us, even a better reason!) Seriously, the unchicken and waffles, the mac and cheese, the garlicky greens.... Oh my....

Yes, I'm always up for Hogtown if that pleases everyone! Also, I'm not really acquainted with other restaurants as I don't eat out much so don't have any other suggestions. I can't remember what I ate last time at Hogtown but whatever I have there, it's always delicious. Something crispy and yum.

Since no dissenting voices have chimed in, shall we just say Hogtown on the 24th, and anyone who checks this thread between now and then who wants to can join? What time works best for you working folk?

Now the big dillema is, should I order something new and exciting or something I've already had but have been fantasizing about? That's a serious PSPTYHWAEPACTYP right there.
