In the market itself, Cinnamon Works has some vegan baked goods and Pike Place Chowder has a vegan chowder (I've never tried it). There's a Cherry Street Coffee nearby and they have vegan soups and a couple other options. I'm blanking on the name, but littlebear and I had lunch at a coffee shop just up 1st a bit and they surprisingly did a really nice tofu scramble. I know I've eaten at the Pike brewery in the market several times, but it was more of a make-do, sad salad thing because I was there with other people. I wouldn't choose to go there.

As far as the rest of downtown goes, the pat answers are generally Wild Ginger, Cyber Dogs, Mexico (in Pacific Place). There's a good falafel place, Zaina, in Pioneer Square.

Cafe Fonté! That was the coffee place with the scramble. Most of their menu is pretty unvegan, though, so I'd only go if I was in the mood for scramble and some really good coffee.

According to Vegan Score, the crumpet place in the market has vegan noms, and the Mexican place that's opened on 1st where Pan Africa used to be (sad face) has a bunch of vegan offerings. I think that covers the immediate market area... let us know if you want to wander any further!

I need to know these things also. Particularly places that might be open early for breakfast. I have a conference for three days that starts at about 8am each morning, so need to be able to get breakfast in the area (it's at the Convention Centre) each morning and also lunch in the area. I've already marked Cinnamon Works (went there last time I was in Seattle, yum) and the crumpet place on my Google Map, but all suggestions are welcome!

The Greek place in the market has dolmas and falafel. Also Bang Bang Cafe further in to Belltown has yummy vegan stuff...that might work for breakfast at least.

I wrote about this in a different thread a few weeks ago: "At Pike Place Market, El Borracho has a small but good vegan menu (the nachos are my favorite!). The Crumpet Shop sells vegan crumpets, Cinnamon Works sells vegan cookies the size of your head, Rachel's Ginger Beer is delicious and about to take the world by storm, and the chowder place has one vegan offering. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff. Within a few blocks, there's a Veggie Grill, and Cupcake Royale has one vegan flavor. A somewhat longer walk, but doable, is Bang Bang Cafe, which has a great vegan mac & cheese plus sandwiches and burritos."

El Borracho tacos are good! I wasn't a fan of the nachos but I am a Daiya hater and they were pretty Daiya heavy when I had them.
