Let's have a meetup! The good old-fashioned sedentary kind where we eat a bunch of food. And maybe meet some of the new(ish) people? Lunch or breakfast/brunch on a weekend would be my preference and I think we could do any weekend in February.

I am usually free any time Saturday. Sundays are iffier for me, but could be doable.

Breakfast is pretty impossible for me on the weekends. Lunch should be workable though.

Brunch is my favorite meal to have out... followed by all the other meals, so I'm easy. I think our February weekends are pretty flexible. We were trying to have a Do You Also Not Care About The Superbowl? Then Come to Our House and Eat Dips and Play Board Games! party next Sunday, but we are apparently the only two people who don't care about the Superbowl, so it's not happening. That was a very long sentence to say that we almost had plans but now we have none.

I might be able to make it down for a Saturday lunch in February. I would not be able to make it on the 22nd though.

I don't care about the Super Bowl.

I mean, at all.

I'm not usually one to squeal, but I think I did when I read this! I am not alone! Thank you!!

I wasn't going to bring it up lest either 1) I seem like a horrible old troll or 2) rabid Seahawk fans track me down and hurt me

But since the topic has been broached......I AM SO OVER hearing about the Seahawks and the super bowl. So you are not alone. I really, really needed to go to the grocery store after work today, but I came home instead to my Seahawk-free home. Don't get me wrong, football fans can enjoy it all they want, I'm just saturated with it all.

How about lunch on either the 8th or the 15th so Katie can (maybe) come? Where should we go? I am always up for Moonlight. But I'm pretty much always up for anywhere.

(And GO HAWKS!!! 12th man!!! Woohoo!!!)

(I actually care only a microscopic amount about the Super Bowl. But I like being obnoxious.)

You literally made my face uncontrollably squinch up when I saw that! I thought I was safe if I was at home without any tv or radio.

cute disclaimer, btw :)

The 8th would work better for me but I can make the 15th work.

Apparently here, rather than on Facebook, is where we should've been trying to get people to come eat a million dips and play board games and ignore football with us on Sunday. *sigh*

I know I mentioned this elsewhere, but I haven't been to Moonlight yet, so that'd be neat. But, like Pinko, I'm up for anywhere. Except El Chupacabra in Phinney Ridge.

Hah! Today at the gym I asked one of the trainers if the number twelve I see on all the Seahawk stuff was that guy that yelled a bunch after the last game. I swear to you that the whole gym came to a standstill, completely horrified and aghast at my question. Maybe I should be afraid to go back there tomorrow??

And go to Gorditos and get fajitas or a wet burrito (both with tofu)!!! Just be sure to say "no dairy" or they will cook your tofu in butter. Other than that, so so so so so so so so good.

Is it possible to make it a liiiittle later?

Remember how I said that my Saturdays were wide open? Well, now it's my Sundays that are wide open. Saturday at 1:00 might be cutting it close. Or you all can start at 1:00, and I'll make it when I make it.

I'll be up there Tuesday through Thursday this week, if anyone would like to hang out.

I can't make that. And I've never been to Moonlight. So, everyone eat double for me!

Footie, what time would be better for you? I just picked 1:00 because that's what SweetT always did and she's the meetup master.

Or we could try for the 15th instead. Could more people do lunch on the 15th?

1:30 on Saturday (any Saturday) would work well for me.

But 1:00 would be possible. If I make the bus driver go really fast.

If I was going I would pick you up, but I'm working. My pup is too big for shotgun so it'd be all yours

ETA assuming you don't mind a doggy face (coming from the back seat) next to yours..... we be a package deal :)

I could possibly make it on the 15th, and I can't come on the 8th. I forgot about a baby shower on the 8th. BUT! I am a maybe on the 15th, so don't change the date just for me in case I can't come anyways.

Should we try for 1:30 on the 15th instead? They're saying it might snow Saturday (I'll believe it when I see it), so... eh. Plus, if we do it then (maybe!) Katie can come.

I can do 1:30 on the 15th. You'll have to excuse the unsightly goggle marks around my eyes, though.

Breaking news!

I think I can now do earlier than 1:30. My Korean tutor will be coming to my house, so 1:00 on Saturdays should be totally fine.
