They're back, keeping the skies safe from silence.

I like 'em. They're possibly Seattle's most divisive topic though.

i have never appreciated the lack of annoying aerial sounds more than in the two years we moved away from the airport where our local equivalent practice (the "smoke squad", or the Toucans, which is hilarious because Toucans are terribly, bumbly fliers). You ahve my sympathies.

My deepest sympathies to you guys. Learning that this year's Fleet Week had been de-funded in San Francisco was the happiest day of my life. I have never met a single person here who enjoys Fleet Week, and perhaps unsurprisingly, all the patriotic, loud-lovin' folks quoted in the media have traveled in from out of town.

I was out on a blanket in the yard with the girls the other day and one flew low right over our house. Inez asked if it was a rocket ship.

I have to say yay! Because my dad was peripherally involved with the Thunderbirds. Sorry! I used to love watching them at Nellis.

I have a dog terrified of loud noises and know way too many people with debilitating PTSD to find them anything but horrible. It's hard to find something enjoyable when you know that people and other animals have to be sedated to get through it.

I meant to vote Hell no, instead of No.

I'm not good at voting, but I'm good at not liking the Blangels.

I can't stand them, never once in my entire life of living here have I been happy to hear or see them. Thank God my dog isn't phased by loud noises.

Don't worry, I voted Hell no for you! (I've never seen them nor heard of them before, but based on what most people have said I would have voted no, if I didn't know you were unhappy with your vote.)
