What's everyone's favorite place in town to get lattes? I love the lattes at Cafe Flora, but that's not the same as getting one to go from a coffee shop. Bonus points if you know of a place that uses organic syrups.

That's such a huge question. There are dozens of coffee shops in every neighborhood! I'm not really a latte drinker (too much milk, not enough caffeine. I'm a shot-in-the-dark gal: standard drip with a shot of espresso poured in), but a good latte starts with good espresso!

Fremont: Fremont Coffee House or Cafe Vita
Ballard: hands down, Ballard Coffee Works
Capitol Hill: Stumptown
Downtown: I'm never downtown. But I do love Cherry St. Coffee when I am; there's a Seattle Coffee Works near the market, too
Green Lake: Peet's or Forza, but I'm partial to Peet's for a dozen reasons...and they have almond milk
U District: Cafe Solstice, for me, but there's quite a bit of good coffee around there

That's all I got. I never venture anywhere else...but, man, if you haven't tried Ballard/Seattle Coffee works, hightail it over there to try it. Even my roommate likes their lattes (he's a coffee snob with the best of them).

Vivace (Capitol Hill/SLU) makes an outstanding hemp latte.

I really love (and miss!) cafe ladro's almond milk latte. And the tiny espresso stand at the Fremont bridge makes an amazing latte too.
