No Bones About It has been working on opening an actual location AND IT IS OPEN!

http://nobonesbeachclub.com/

It's called No Bones Beach Club! And it's a Tiki Bar! And I'm going tonight for my birthday! I will report back.

I am also super excited for this! Can't wait to hear how it was. All the pictures I've seen look so fun.

(Happy birthdays, missd & ijdi! Mine was last week - we have a little Seattle PPK birthday cohort!)

Mr. C and I were at the soft opening last week. It is fantastic, y'all. Great menu, great drinks, and cute as heck inside. I had the jackfruit carnitas and Mr. C had the soy curl lettuce wraps, and they were both so good. And they'll have brunch on the weekends! I told MacKenzie, the owner, that she needs to put the chicken & waffles she made for our wedding on the brunch menu. *fingers crossed*

We got invited to join some friends for No Bones dinner on Saturday and another friend for No Bones brunch on Sunday. Is two meals in a row excessive?

Happy birthday, missdelaney!

Thanks all!

It was amazingly good. The food was incredible. We had the Volcano Roll, Parsnip and (something? I can't remember) Cakes, and the Cauliflower Buffalo wings. All of it was great. The sauce around the roll was so good I ate it plain when we finished the roll. And the cauliflower wings were so spicy and the ranch was delicious.

The cocktails were good. My margarita was really strong. And when I mentioned it was my birthday, she poured me a shot....served in a freaking shark toy!

We went for brunch today and it was incredible! I had the chile relleno - best chile relleno I've ever had, vegan or non - and everyone else had the crab cakes benedict, which was also delicious and had everyone at the table waxing rhapsodic about the hollandaise. She also has Brown Sugar Baking Company's cinnamon rolls and pop-tarts! And killer cocktails.

We tried to go for brunch today but we ran out of time. The place and the menu both looked awesome and we saw veganchubosaurus on our way in! I'm thinking about making a separate thread to plan a No Bones meet up? I need that lox! Or possibly a chile relleno!

Erika: dooooo ittttt.

I had the chile relleno, it was so good! I'm hoping that their music selection isn't always so non-PG. The F-word, N-word, B-word - I was glad I didn't have my little boy with me. There were a few little kids there while these songs were playing.
Anyway, definitely have a meetup. I want to go back.

My son had been a few times and raved about the avocado tacos and the nachos.

Are kids allowed or is this a 21+ bar? I don't see this info on their website. I'm taking the train up with my daughter next weekend and I want to eat here so badly. Like for every meal all weekend, because my sister lives nearby, so it makes sense, right? I'd be down for a meetup for lunch or dinner Saturday or brunch Sunday if anyone is interested!

Kids can go for sure. Not sure if there are certain hours where they aren't allowed, but we met up there with a ppkid a while back! I'm not available this weekend unfortunately, but definitely go there. It's so good!

I think there is a bar area where kids can't be and a restaurant area where kids can be. At that meetup we had to move from one table to another due to the kiddo arriving right?

I could probably do lunch Saturday if it's ok to come kiddo-less.

I forgot that my kids have dance class in the morning tomorrow, so the earliest we could probably be there is 2:30 or 3:00 (which is late for lunch, I know). And that's if we make the earlier ferry. Sooo... anyone still interested?

Sorry to be flaky! If we don't see you guys I hope you have fun and eat tons of awesome stuff!
