I checked out the dining guide, but I don't know Seattle well and thought I'd better ask.

A good friend just moved to Maple Valley and tomorrow is my second trip over from North Idaho in a month. I want yummy vegan food this trip! Also, I've got a new doc I'll be visiting, and may need to come back again next month, too. I would be grateful to find a few dining choices within 25 minutes of my friends house or the docs, whose office is right by the Ikea in Renton, apparently.

Blossom (Vietnamese) in Renton is really good! It is almost all vegan. They have a lot of vegan meats which are my most favorite thing to get. The pork fresh rolls are great and so is the lemongrass chicken. I go there on the regular when I am in Maple Valley visiting my boyfriend's parents. I haven't really eaten anywhere else in Renton or Maple Valley because I always go to Blossom when we're down there.

Seconding Blossom - it's incredible. I have never even researched any other options down there because Blossom is so dang good.

Thank you, thank you, thankyouverymuch for posting this suggestion. Blossom was amazing! I am so glad that I made time to visit this place. I'm flying in next month for another appt & will most certainly go back, as it's about 10-15 minutes from my foot doctor. Yum!

Throw in Ikea meatballs and dining was easy this trip. Seattle food for the win!

I love Blossom!

If you like Thai, Thai Destination in Fairwood (literally right up the hill from ikea, 10-15 minutes away tops) is also yummy! It's not a vegan restaurant, but the owners are awesome and anything labeled vegetarian really is and they're great about leaving eggs out of anything when asked.
