Have you guys seen the thing where they say if they don't get funded, they'll be shutting down the business completely? That's kind of a bummer. I hope they make it - they're about halfway with eight days to go.

Really? That would be a bummer, I haven't used my reward from the first kickstarter they did.

That really sucks. I can't imagine they're going to make it - everyone I've talked with about it thinks that $41,000 is just too much to expect. Not even Wayward got that much, and they've been in business for years and years.

I desperately want to be wrong, though.

Wait, wait, wait. If they don't get funded, they're calling it quits?

Well, shiitake.

With just under 2 days left, they're 87.2% funded.

Go, everyone, go!

I pledged! Partially because I want to be able to use my punch card from last time I pledged, and partially because I want brownies and cookies delivered to my house! And so all you Seattle people can have a vegan ice cream shop.

They made it! I agree it was a big ask, but I ended up pledging, too, and I'm glad they made it. Also, a shop will be much better for meetups.

It's at 75th & Greenwood, and it's adorable. Yellow and white, with a little walk-up window and gorgeous hardwood floors. They're putting in some vintage lighting fixtures - it's going to be so cute inside.

This makes me simultaneously bummed and a little relieved that I am moving away from Greenwood. I will still be close enough to make the trip, but I won't be mere moments away from temptation at all times.

So glad they made it!
