Anyone still posting on the PPK? I saw Isa and Terry last week and it was a semi-religious experience. I'd say that as a result I'm in the middle of a Vegan-aissance.

What's been happening?

hi koala t. i'm still here, although i often don't post ;) i am super bummed i missed terry and isa, i didn't realise they were coming to brissie until i saw isa's instagram pics **sadface**

as for what's happening, i am probs at the opposite of the vegan-aissance, i am a vegan robot mama cooking all the food for the family in a horrificly predictable weekly basis. eg, sunday night=fry's schnitzel with veg mash and gravy night. friday night=homemade pizza with homemade cashew melty mozzarella, or soup if i can't be arsed. thursdays are burger night. seriously, i am a robot at the moment. i did make a ridiculously good lumberjack cake last week though. i had to dig through my old vegan voice mags to find it, but maaaaaan, was it worth it :D

Mmmm lumberjack cake! Om nom nom. I made the grilled ramen from the PPK blog last night. Even made the broth from scratch. :)

Unfortunately, I missed the Syd Vegan festival. :(

I have just gotten 'Isa does it!" which is such a gorgeous cookbook and so inspiring.

I also found out Isa is from the same neighborhood in Brooklyn that I grew up in! Woot!
