my sanitarium vegie roast was kinda puffy and slightly slimey but smelt ok and didn't taste wrong when i licked it.... should i eat this guys? (hooray for the anzac forum)

Weeeeeird. Was the packaging puffy? Cos I reckon that's always a definite no-go. Slightly slimy means past its prime, but not always inedible? At least, in my experience. Maybe better safe than sorry.

I wouldn't eaten it. Puffy and slimy is never good.
I have bought that once or twice in the past, and once it did turn out kinda weird and "fluffy". Can I also just say that I unashamedly love all the sanitarium veg sausages, hotdogs, etc. I know they're not amazing, but you can put them in anything and satisfy our bogan delights.
