I live in Portugal, land of the pig & sardine, and wondered if anyone else here does? I'm struggling to find information about vegan products here - alcohol for instance - in no small part because my Portuguese is not nearly as good as it should be yet.

Hello? Anyone??

Hi! I'm not from Portugal, but just in case I thought I'd link you to this beautiful English blog that is written by a vegan woman from Portugal. Maybe she can help you figure some stuff out. http://veggiesonthecounter.com/

Same language, far across the pond. Sniffing around the blog posted above (which was lovely) I found some links that led to others and others and came up with two places that might have info, at least in the forums.
http://www.sociedadevegan.com/
and
http://www.centrovegetariano.org/
I will see if i can poke around a bit more and find some newer stuff.
this, i found, but it's really old
http://www.centrovegetariano.org/index. ... cle_id=246
and if you posted in the forum or emailed them you might get some updates.

if i can help you somehow let me know!

(PS- Pig and sardine. I am in the land of horrific beef barbecue (southern brazil). yet it's getting better every year, when we came here 7 years ago we could barely even find soymilk.)

We were in Portugal last month and I was able to find a couple of types of soy yoghurt (including alpro), vegan marg and a few types of soy milk at intermarche, they have stores all over Portugal.
