Lepelaar posted this linked in one of the Lowlands threads, but the webshop is based in Germany (I think; their shipping info defaults to Germany, anyway) and ships throughout the EU. As I said in the other thread, it is the most dangerous link in the entire history of dangerous links. Put your hands on your wallets, friends...This place sells tofurkey, field roast, sour supreme, Sheese, no-muh, lots of household and beauty products, etc. etc. etc.

Just tried placing an order for a few things and the shipping was nearly 18 euros. Yikes.

Yeah. There's a flat fee + per weight fee. Somewhere in the shipping info is a table with everything...

I just ordered (and received) a huge order from them! It was a total splurge, but I really wanted to get enough to justify the (flat rate) shipping. I got a bunch of the Vegusto sausages, a pack of Tofurky sausages, some Vegusto and Field Roast cold cuts, a few different flavors of Violife cheese, a supply of Clif Bars and some sweet (including chocolate chips!) The shipping was 8,50 euros but I did pay for one of the thermoboxes as well.

Everything went smoothly, from ordering to delivery, and they threw in a few free products as well (some tvp, gummy bears, and a whole free pack of Violife! Oh, and a recipe to go with the tvp.) Also, you immediately start to build up loyalty points which you can use on your next order (have to look more into this) and you can also return the thermoboxes for loyalty points. I will definitely order from them again!

Wow, fantastic! How do the violife cheese compare to Wilmersburger? And how amazing are the Field Roast cold cuts?

I'd have to do a side-by-side taste test to be sure, but I get the sense that the Violife is creamier. I like the Wilmersburger, but it's got a slightly rubbery bite that these seem to lack. I still have to try to see how they melt.

The Field Roast cold cuts are delicious! I got the "smoked tomato". I don't know why I've been reluctant to try them for so long. I love their sausages but for some reason was wary of the cold cuts. Yesterday's luch was a sandwich of these with the violife slices. I think today's lunch is going to be two sandwiches.

Ok, so melted, the Violife is about on par with the Wilmersburger. But unmelted, I like it better. Like I said, a bit creamier.

Oh man, those vegusto sausages are like no sausages I've ever tasted. Sooooooooo good!

They've got a "free shipping on orders over______" deal:

Germany > 50 euro
Austria, Belguim, Denmark, France, Luxumburg, the Netherlands > 80 euro
rest of the EU countries > 120 euro

It's still a lot to spend, but a couple of bottles of vitamins would take me halfway there. Hmm...

Until Jan. 5th, so you've got time to save up, make a long list, or both.

This is dangerous dangerous information, Rebekah! I could so easily rack up 80 euros on that website. I'm zipping through those Violife slices way faster than I had intended, and the Field Roast cold cuts are gone. And I've gone through the all the chocolate I ordered already.

And OMG, has anyone ever had the Schnouggi from Vantastic Foods? I think I had a mouth orgasm on my first bite. It's pricey for the size, but it's so rich and flavorful. Holy moly!

What's Schnouggi? And, yeah. When my friend Lauren gets back from London, we're placing a giant order. All the Field Roast cold cuts for me! (I showed natureboy my list, and he said: I don't think you need those (he doesn't like anything "meat"-y). And I said: I don't think you understand, those are for meeeeeeeeeeee.) Good to know the VioLife is dangerous. I bought some in Leuven, but haven't tested it yet. I did buy some Shavt cheese, and, meh. It just tastes like miso-flavored cashews to me.

Lutin, meet Schnouggi. It's like just the inside of a hazelnut praline.

This. I recently went to vedge, spent € 40 and ate most of it within a week. Those Field Roast cold cuts are so good.

I've always been a tad squeamish about unfamiliar meats and cheeses (vegan or otherwise), so a lot of the site is safe from me. However... I DO need vitamins, would love to try Dandies...

See, I was lucky for awhile; my city had a small vegan market that sold things like Dandies, Crazy Rumors, and Booka-Booja. They temporarily closed a couple of months ago, due to a death in management, but last I checked they were still closed. Someone still goes in there and unpacks the new merchandise, and they sell a couple of packaged foods across the hall in a so-so vegan cafe... ... I miss that little store. But I haven't taken vitamins in ages because I've run out and keep waiting for the store to re-open, which is silly.

re: Violife. I had the opposite experience, lepelaar! I found the 'normal' Violife to be more plastic-y than WIlmersberger, but I loved it melted. It tasted so creamy! And it melted perfectly, too. (With me, Wilmbersberger tends to dissolve...)

Good-bye, money. The sale meant they didn't have the Violife, Tofurkey OR Field Roasties I wanted and I still spent a million million monies.

Yeah, I noticed last week they were out of a lot of stuff I would want to order. But it looks like they get the Vegusto sausages in pretty frequently, and I swear I could easily buy 80 euros worth of those and be happy. Holy shiitake, they are soooooooooooooooo good. I mean, I love Field Roast, I really do, but those Vegusto sausages are by far the best vegan sausage I've ever had. I don't know how they do it.

I bought soyananda cream cheeze for the first time. Wow! It tastes almost exactly like creme fraiche/keifer cheese. Would Buy Again™®©.

Just placed a massive order to get the free shipping. Lots of Field Roast, Tofurky, Violife, and Vegusto. I know some of it has longer sell-by dates (the Vegusto sausages seem to be good for quite a while) but I may have to freeze some stuff too. Can't wait can't wait can't wait.

I was browsing and noticed that the large bags of Amicat kibble are almost €10 cheaper at VB than at the Dutch place I usually get them from. This is the perfect excuse for a huge order. The free shipping threshold for NL is €159. I should try to get some local vegans to share the order, and avoid ordering my own weight in cheese and sausages...

It did! I've been eating lots of deli sandwiches and lots of sausages! I only wish I'd ordered more of the white chocolate from Vantastic foods. Omnomnomnom...
