Is Carter really upset that Zane would rather be with Jo? He really wants Zane and Zoe together? Also, I hate crazy Beverly - can we get rid of her forever? I don't appreciate her messing with Carter and Allison.

hey, i just started watching this show on instant! i love the mix of goofy and faux science-y. i'm sad the show is ending.

can i tell you how upset i was about the end of season 1, with the alternate "things work out pretty much perfect" carter-allison together time line that ends up destroyed. i get that they couldn't end up together so quickly in the series, but how cruel to show me them at all. i'm half way through season 2, and i'm still mourning that episode. i'm such a sap.

I guess I have to be the person to post in this thread that Eureka has been canceled. The network let them know with one episode left to film in the current season, pretty much forking them out of an ending.

I've only just discovered Eureka, so I am devestatad it's being cancelled. I've watched my way through the first two seasons and am waiting on the third. Typical just when I find a really interesting/funny show it gets cancelled.

I thought I read somewhere that the network was letting them make an extra finale episode.

yes, they got an extra episode! i just finished season 3 last night, and that's all that's available on netflix instant. sad face.

Not the current season that's airing now, season 4.5. They're finishing up filming of the NEXT season right now, 14 more episodes, and SyFy gave the go-ahead to add a final, 15th episode for season 5 to wrap things up. The writers are pretty screwed because they all got the news while filming that 14th episode and they say it's a humdinger of a cliffhanger. Now they have one episode to resolve the cliffhanger and tie up any loose ends and say good-bye to Eureka.

My curse has struck again! I started watching old episodes on Netflix a couple months ago and I was hooked from the pilot and then just weeks after I got into the show, BAM! cancelled. Sorry guys.

The same thing happened to me! I just finished the second season. Maybe Not-Sci-Fi will let them do a t.v. movie for an epilogue?

I'm halfway through Season 1 right now. I wasn't immediately sure it held my attention, but I'm liking it! Definitely more so than other sci fi-ish series I've attempted recently.

dude, i still miss that episode.

and yeah, they get another (shortish) season! which is sad, but okay.

Yeah, a lot of people are annoyed. I just sat there going: What? Not AGAIN!?!? during most of the episode AND at the ending.

Still, I'll continue to watch every episode and hope that Nathan shows up at least once more before the finale. I *so* miss his snark and cried one more time last week when SyFy showed a marathon and his death was one of the episodes shown.

i agree. i was like, this is definitely a dream. it's too crazy. i'm so annoyed that the bad guy is beverly AGAIN. jeeeeeze. someone kill her already!

I agree - I forking hate Beverly. I think she's the worst part of the show and it would have done better if they'd let her fade into black and never appeared again after the first season. I actually liked the whole four year thing, and except for Zane being sad, I was totally into the whole brand new scenario. I have an ex who used to love to write stories when he was little and every single one ended with "and he woke up and it was all a dream" and I hate that shiitake.

They put season four on Netflix, I love how at the start of every episode they have to explain the time travel thing.

I was actually really shocked when the new director was SARAH and not Beverly. My biggest problem with the whole Beverly plot line is that they just haven't revealed enough about her motives. She's said some stuff about her "mission" in the past, but she lies so much and does such evil shiitake it's really hard to be sure any of it is true. I can appreciate the need to feed info slowly, but after four whole seasons I just feel like we know so little.

You guys, I haven't watched this show beyond the first episode, but can I just tell you that at one point at Denver Comic Con last weekend I was standing about a foot away from Colin Ferguson and he is such a cutie pie in person? Also he was being super sweet to the fans who came up to him.
