I think that Pam's flashback was showing Hoyt's intention. He's miserable and desperate for a better life, and thinks he'll get it if he gets turned?
Mac from Veronica Mars! OMG, she was PERFECT for this role. So perfect. "There's an app for that."

That was a good ep! Sookie and Alcide! Faeries! And Tara wasn't all that annoying somehow and Pam was awesome. I guess Tara's impression of Pam is what made her not annoying. I like that Terry has a storyline but it's a little whatthefucky.

Seriously, 50 minutes of terror. The fire demon... the people in the van... the abandoned hospital... Jesus' head?! Horrifying, all of it. (Ok I'm a wuss, but still.)
And I had no particular affinity for Luna, but that was really sad.

Seriously, all I felt was confusion at the end of that episode. So much happened!
But that was possibly the best opener ever with Sookie and Alcide.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Jesus' head. I loved that ep but I have one complaint...I wish that once in awhile Lafayette's storyline had anything to do with anyone else's storyline.

I thought Tara and Jessica were going to be friends - then they have to go fight over a boy...

Drunk Sookie is my favorite Sookie. I really love that she's not a damsel in distress like many female characters we see. I want to see more fairies! I'm extremely curious about what's going on with Jesus.

I don't get the point of the story with Terry and Noel from Felicity. It feels tacked on and it unrelated to anything else that has ever been in the series.
OK but I have a question - does anyone know of a timeline somewhere that shows how long a period it has been since the very beginning of the show? Because it seems like every season takes place over the course of about 6 days. I know Sookie was in fairyland for like a year from everyone else's perspective, but from her perspective, it's got to have been only like three months since the very beginning.

I forgot about that. Wait, then when Jason and Andy go to Fairy Land, why does it seem like time is normal?

I'm with Molly. Seriously, can't Terry just be a supporting character with NO relevant backstory? Please, fill that quarter of the show with vamps, wolves, fairies, whatever, as long as it ties into the rest of the show.
Also, this is one of the few occasions I love the show more than the books. Not derailing giving spoilers. I'm just sayin', they took all the best concepts from the books and left out the fluff. Then added fluff (like Terry's story) but nonetheless, awesomized the rest.
And <3 drunk Sookie. She's the best.

I'm happy that Terry has a story, just wish the story were a different one that maybe tied in somehow? Maybe it will. Shrugs.

What just happened? I was hoping they would just kill Russell and get it all over with. Fairy strip clubs? Hoyt is a terrible fang banger. Lefrit? Too many subplots. And nobody is getting it on.
