Poor kitten. I figured she would pawn the kitten off on someone after the cute photo ops dried up.

I wish there would be more attention to the fact that this kitten had a terminal disease related to the fact that it is overbred. For all my friends who buy cats from breeders because "they are healthier and I don't want the heartbreak of losing another one."

I saw that mentioned in another article and thought the same thing.

i have this feeling she will just end up with another of the same kind.

this would be a perfect opportunity to bring to light why rescue animals are way better.
probably not gonna happen.

See, this is why I love you guys. I've had to listen to healthcare "professionals" make out that the poor nurse is a complete moron the past few days. I love the compassion on this forum. From working in the healthcare system I know my peers are completely ruthless and unforgiving if you are less than perfect and that kind of scrutiny can make you 100% believe that there is only one way out.

Heard on the radio this morning that Simon Cowell is dating Carmen Electra. I don't know about you guys, but that just seems like a really strange pairing.

I saw something about this! Simon told Ryan Seacrest on Ryan's radio show that they've been on a couple of dates and that she's a really sweet girl.

He seems like kind of a man-whore, and wasn't she a stripper? Looks like a good match to me.

Chiming in late, but it's annoying me that it wasn't reported what the actual disease was anywhere, but it was obviously FIP from everything I've read about it. FIP is more common in cats from breeders but really anytime a cat is in a multicat environment, including shelters and breeders, there is a very good chance it will contract the coronavirus, which can mutate into FIP. It doesn't really have anything to do with overbreeding, it basically has to do with being in an environment with lots of cats. There are a few breeders that are completely free of the coronavirus, I believe, but in general it is very hard to avoid. Obviously shelters rule, breeders drool, and I think breeding cats or any animal is totally unethical, but just wanted to offer some information. Effie died of FIP and she was actually never even in a shelter, just a foster home, but the coronavirus is just everywhere.

I saw some stuff placing blame on Kim Kardashian for Mercy dying and I think it's idiotic to adopt a purebred cat but it's not her fault she got FIP, there's just no real way to prevent or treat it and it's horrific.

i dunno there are pics on facebook of them celebrating their anniversary on new year's eve.
i know there was some sort of picture scandal and then some dude claims he slept with her but it doesnt seem to have turned into anything.

Heidi and Spencer from the hills are in celebrity big brother. It is lovely seeing them being tortured by being put in "the basement." Spencer looks like he wants to cry. He is full of a serious amount of hatred for a young man.

I love Ice-T, I hope they don't break up :(
