I kind of loved Bro Doctor and Morgan in this episode. Which is a sentence I never expected to type, ever.

Bro doctor's accent cracks me up sometimes, like when he says "I'm taking a bath", but it sounds like beeaath. It's just so exaggerated and dorky and antithetical to his whole persona that it makes me laugh.

Do you think he's doing the accent on purpose? I thought it was just how he normally talks. I can't stand that accent when I hear it in real life, so I would love to find out it's part of his character and not a real thing.

Hmm, I don't know! Ok actually I just took a second to watch a clip of him on Conan, and I think that is just his voice. He totally sounds like a midwestern mom to me. Or something. And he's from New Jersey so I'm not sure where that came from.

I love the cute outfits that Mindy wore in Sk8rMan! I love that a woman who is curvy and South Asian can look so hot on TV. Its wonderful.

Bro Doc totally sounds like someone from Central/Western NY, in a slightly exaggerated kind of way. When I was a freshman in college I went to school downstate and my roommate totally picked on me for saying math "meeaath"...

I just started watching this show and I'm pretty sure it's some of the funniest TV I've seen in a long time. I have a friend that reminds me so much of Mindy. I haven't watched the first season, but I don't care. This is awesome and I've caught up on most of the story lines I think.

I guess we learned how to solve the problem of oft-annoying Brocter and oft-annoying Morgan -- put them together and you have MAGIC. Oh my Lard I was hysterical at their texting scenes. [Winky Face] "YESSSS!!!!!!!" [I'm coming over.] "NOOOOOOO!!!!" That was perfection. The whole episode was great. Danny is amazing. The faces he made when he was pretending to be with Mindy?? Too much. And when he was holding her, and Crazy Neighbor (who was sooo fun) said, "Ok, this is real. He never looked at me like that," I couldn't take it. I love him so much. :) I wonder what will happen with Dennis (that's all I can call hiim) now that Mindy knows he slept with Erin.

I think of Mindy as the feminist Carrie Bradshaw, with clothes most adult women would actually wear.

Noooo, Fox is putting Mindy on hiatus until April.

Dads, I understand, because I heard that show was terrible. Brooklyn Nine-Nine I'd get too (though I've only seen maybe 1 1/2 eps). This is a bummer. I agree with them on all the guest stars though.

Oh, ok Mindy says they still have five episodes before the break, then 8 new ones starting April 1st.

I still don't like them messing up my Tuesday New Girl / Mindy combo!

I always thought Adam Pally's accent was classic midwestern. At least that's how it came across on Happy Endings, which was set in Chicago. I always assumed he was some Wisco-bro.

Oh me gosh, you gotta set aside a day and watch the first season, because it's such a treat.

Nooo dammit all my shows get treated so poorly.

That said, last week's was kind of annoying. I wouldn't think the midwives would be so mean! They are all meditaty and peaceful; the vindictive public relations war seemed so out of character. And annoying. My favorite part was Broctor realizing the politician was not his friend and saying 'that's not him I've made a horrible mistake' in like 2 seconds.

I agree with everything that article said, the season got off on the wrong foot and has pretty much stayed on it. I'm not even sure why they thought they needed this parade of guest stars, that's usually something shows do to boost ratings when they're bad but they've been doing that for most of the season. I think they just keep trying things and it keeps missing the mark. I don't even like Glenn Howerton on the show because he's being underused in a really generic role.

I would probably be annoyed with all the guest stars if they weren't some of my favorite TV actors. First Timothy Olyphant, and now Anna Gunn will be on later in the season. I ain't mad about that.

But I definitely think that this season has been pretty flawed, especially compared to last season. Mindy Kaling is better than this.

I like them too, I just think the article is right about focusing too much on the guest stars and not enough on development of the regular characters.

Oh my goodness. I just watched last week's episode. It was perfection! I'm obsessed with it! I want to watch it again! I rewound so many times. Danny was just oozing chemistry and amazingness and I love him so much. It was amazing.

I loved him so much in this episode. The dance was beyond adorable.

I know! That ep totally got me to jump aboard the Mindy/Danny ship. Chris Messina can be such a good romantic lead.

I hope he gets lots of movies when the show is over (which I hope isn't too soon).

He's got a certain curmudgeonly charm I find very appealing.

As soon as he started playing the song, I yelled, "HE'S GOING TO DANCE!" because I know that Chris Messina is a great dancer.

And I love that Mindy shares my love for early 2000s R&B.
