I still can't get over how Lori played them both, mostly Rick, trying to get him to do what he finally did, and then turned on him.

And can I add that finally next season we'll obviously have a new bad asparagus chick, not a whiney one, sword-wielding no less. Andrea tries, but she's just a crazy bisque, trying to be hard-ass and zen in different turns. "kill the walkers, let her kill herself, see she didn't kill herself so it's all good. . ."

Amazing episode. Edge of your seat non stop action, questions were finally answered, secrets were revealed and the scenes were shot beautifully. For once there was so much going on!! I don't want to say too much in case some people havent seen it yet but OMG you will not be disappointed.

Can anyone explain WHY Lori turned on Rick? I didn't get that at all. And why Rick is acting like he had another choice other than to kill Shane or be killed himself? And again, I ask, is Lori supposed to make sense? Like, are the writers intending something different with her character than what comes across? I feel like we're not supposed to hate her, we're supposed to sympathize with her somehow, but we don't. I don't know if it's bad acting, bad writing or some combo thereof.

I sat up and yelled 'Yes!' when I saw the hooded sword wielding woman! She IS mega bad-ass! (If it's the same character in the comics that is) I didn't see that coming. I thought Andrea was gonna bump into the 'rape and pillage' gang. (And maybe handless Merle) This was so much better.

Lori sucks. So hard.

Overall, I think it's still an exciting kick-ass show. Can't wait until next season.

Seriously, if we're gonna kill off some characters, let's let Lori be zombie food. She does not inspire any sympathy, empathy, emotion besides loathing in me whatsoever. Otherwise, awesome episode, and I continue to be in love/lust with Norman Reedus.

I'm gonna have some serious fantasies about Norman Reedus driving up on his motorcycle and saving me from a herd of zombies. Then we come upon an abandoned farm house and decide to hide out for a while...

...I'll be in my bunk.

Boyfriend linked me to the guy who plays Glenn answering pertinent fan questions on Reddit the other day:

My girlfriend wanted to know how Norman Reedus smells? To be honest, I'm curious as well.

He smells like a fusion of vanilla hand soap and motorcycle musk.

Outstanding.

Anyway! Lori is the worst. Her manipulative bullshiitake sucks, but I was even madder when Herschel was defending the house and she just stood behind him, flailing a gun around and shrieking and not attempting to shoot ANYTHING. Ugh.

Also, I think with Rick going crazy, the group needs a new leader and come on, it has to be T-Dog's time to shine.

So I annoyed the husband by constantly chanting "eat Carl, eat Carl" every time Carl was on scene.

And Talking Dead said that is definitely a prison. Really, though, how could Rick not finally go nuts. He put his asparagus on the line time and time again, only to constantly be second guessed, his evil wife pissed at him for...staying alive, and everyone talking how they deserve better and should split. I would have lost it too.

I don't get at all why Lori got so mad at Rick. I was thinking maybe she was upset because Carl had to shoot Shane. I think they were trying to do something there...like...they gave Lori that touching/forgiveness moment with Shane in the previous episode, maybe setting it up so she'd be pissed when he died, but was weird and dumb.

I also don't really get why everyone thinks that now, in the heat of the moment, when they are all sad and tired, is the best time to make big decisions and to take everything everyone says seriously. I mean, clearly they are all super upset. Rick should just apologize and say he's just blowing off steam. I'm guessing that whatever lies ahead at that prison will bring them back together. I'M SO EXCITED!

I don't know how I knew, but I totes said in the middle of the episode "these dumb forkers don't need to camp out in a house anyway, they need to find themselves a nice prison to hole up in" God I'm so smart. Also one of my friends asked what happens if Lori has a miscarriage? Does the baby turn to a zombie? And eat her from the inside out? .....(yeah, I'm hoping too)

I love badass Rick! I was also yelling at the tv for most of the show.

It really bothers me how much ammo they seem to waste. If a zombie is nowhere near you, shouldn't you just keep running instead of wasting all your shiitake?

I think this is it exactly. She looked sort of freaked out as he was telling the story of what happened but it was at that point that she truly went over the edge.

I don't know why they care about Carl. He's terrible. What the hell is he doing running out of the house in the middle of the night in the zombie apocalypse?

Also, I would like to know how that badass lady controls those zombies on the chains because even without arms you'd think they'd try to eat her.

I believe they explained that on The Talking Dead. Anyone else ever watch that? It's pretty nifty.

Last night on the Talking Dead, the creator said that up until this point everyone had just been surviving, now they are going to learn how to thrive (or something like that). Similar to the new character.

I don't have cable, I just download the show from iTunes. There is an extra 5 minute thing with each episode that I always just delete called "Inside Episode whatever" - would that be the same thing as The Talking Dead?

So yeah, I just watched the episode, and it's like they said HEY YOU THINK THERE WASN'T ENOUGH ACTION? TRY THIS! and just kinda went to town on the farm.

I am now interested in season 3 again. So yay.
