He totally did at the end, when he was like "I KILLED HIM FOR YOU!"

Also, not everybody watches Talking Dead because there are spoilers (mostly small). Some people just do not want to know stuff ahead of time.

I don't watch it because I mostly find that kind of making-of/commentary thing tedious.

I guess I spoiled stuff for myself, because immediately after hearing about the hooded woman, I immediately went online and found out everything I could about her. I guess I feel like I'm not left hanging as much because I have some idea about what's going to happen.

But then again, I get super annoyed with the way shows leave the biggest cliffhangers just to get you to watch. I don't know why we can't just get the action NOW, and make the show good enough so I want to watch it the next week! So yeah I felt better having some more information about that before next season.

I guess I missed the part on Talking Dead when they explained the helicopter (I mostly watch for the cute host). I just assumed it was the same helicopter that Rick saw from season one, and they were just showing a flashback on how the herd got started. It looked like they were eating the poor horse he rode into Atlanta on. Though I can't really see them getting distracted from entrails by a helicopter.

The parts of Talking Dead that are good are when they just have celebrity fans on, not production people. The host and celeb-fans get excited about the episodes and have crazy ideas about what is going on, and it's funny when they can't stand Carl either.

I find that my Carl hatred grew when he got that stupid forking hat. The hat takes my hate from reasonable to completely irrational levels. Haha.

Bingo! I grow very irritated with those metal tassels that aren't real tassels. :D

There IS a comic thread too, you know.

Plus I read the first two collections of the comics and, uh. I didn't like them much. They seemed too compressed and I found the art unappealing, and the page layout and panels felt cramped and didn't use the space well.

Boyfriend has the first two or three trades, and stopped reading them after that for the same reasons. He loves the show though!

Okay, nothing I said was secret information that only comic readers would know now that the character has been introduced in the TV show and the writers of the show have said the character's name and the actress who will play her. And this information is available on various well know websites and publications (LA Times, Entertainment Weekly, etc) so other than staying offline it's hard to keep it secret especially where there is no secret. Therefore I thought it was relevant to the show. Plus this image from the TV show is where I got the details of my post, not the comics or my own knowledge of the comics. I guess I feel frustrated at being made some sort of example when I don't feel that is the case. My intention wasn't to spoil anything. Others had questions about the hooded person's pet zombie and I was trying to answer the question.

But I will keep this in mind if I post in this thread in the future.

You are correct! But I didnt remember that from season 1, it was in the pilot. Too long ago for my brain.

Yes! Before he was just annoying and unlikable. Then came the hat.

Okay. I'm not going to argue about no spoilers from the comics. This has been said repeatedly throughout this thread. Please keep in mind that a lot of people take this show seriously and do not read interviews because that kinda stuff usually has spoilers. This issue occurs with every single thread about a show that started from literature or comics. You definitely are not being made an example. Mods regularly go back and put spoiler tags on things.

Plus, as I said before, it was definitely a light spoiler. Just a name. It didn't personally bother me, but I can see how it could bother others, especially since that name was mentioned before the episode even aired in this thread (and was called out for being a spoiler).

I just want to add that it may not seem like it, but we're pretty lax about spoilers. I've been on other boards where you have to put EVERYTHING in spoiler tags. Like, you can't talk about what happened on a current episode in case people who haven't seen it are reading the thread.

Also not all of us have The Talking Dead where we live! I had never even heard of it before reading about it in this thread.

So I wasn't the only person who thought T-Dog's turn out into the damn ditch was ridiculous. I was all, "HEY THEY ARE GOING TO ESCAPE FROM ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE AND THEN GET STUCK IN THE DITCH OH THE IRONY!" Sheesh.

I actually laughed during that scene so I was very happy to see the image.
