I really don't think so!

I thought the BBQ guy on NFNS was more about actual BBQ sauce though, not just grilling, like Bobby's show. And I do agree that Bobby Flay is fairly insufferable. I would, however, watch Alton Brown and Giada all day every day.

I thought that he was just general BBQ...I know that the girl who was paired with the butchers made her own sauce for the challenge. I know bbq guy has to make his own sauces too but no big comments have been made about it that I remember...

Oh and I realized last night BBQ guy looks like Sam from True Blood...

I know in the first few episodes they kept talking about how his sauces were too sweet and in the movie theater one, where he made a Korean BBQ fried chicken wing, they said he finally got it right. I don't know if he made a sauce for that veggie sandwich from this latest episode...I thought they kind of glossed over his food. And he does look similar!

Maybe Bobby is ready to pass the barbecued torch. It's not like he has a shortage of shows...

Yay. I'm not the only person who likes him. I know he used to be a bit of a jerk, but I think he has mellowed. I liked him on Worst Cooks.

I was actually going to ask why the Bobby hate? Was he a dick on his show? (I don't recall ever watching a show of his, only seeming his on Iron Chef or as a judge.) Berating vegetarians? Clubbing baby seals? I like him... and I kind of think he's hot in an interesting way. He's got mojo.

He's actually, and I'm just gonna say it, the most vegetarian-friendly chef on the Food Network. I wish I had the data to back it up, but as someone who watches day and night, he is the one who most often says "For a vegetarian option..." or "For the vegetarians..." Can't you even hear him saying it in his accent?

His accent is strangely sexy.

He is gonna take you out in his Camaro with an Italian disco CD in the dash, cruising the L.I.E. and after that, who knows?

But Alton is such a condescending crasshole! First off, there's totally savory jams. Jam doesn't just go on cake. And he was so mean to Stacey about her stupid spicy/sweet joke. But it's not like his jokes are much better. I don't know, I think he's a dillweed.

Also, why can't the pie guy make a forking pie! The ones at the beginning were all tore up and looked way too soft.

I'm surprised Rodney didn't go home this week - his presentation was a total disaster! And seriously, what was up with his packaging? Not at all practical for retail purposes.

I loved Stacy's presentation dress! Super cute!

Alton seems to just have zero sense of humor, and that disappoints me because I was a big Good Eats fan and want to like him. I totally thought it was Rodney's week to head home; that packaging was atrocious. I did like this challenge though and appreciated that it was different from the usual stuff.

Sins guy is getting on my nerves with all his bacon. Yeah we know, bacon tastes good. Salt tastes good. Bourbon, check. Move on.
I'm surprised Veggie Girl didn't make a meatloaf and stick a piece of celery in it or something. (Man, I must be in a foul mood today. My apologies.)

i used to hate Bobby. i always thought he was such a dick on Iron Chef but on Worst COoks he was downright likable.
Alton, whom i normally love, does seem super condescending on this show.

i think the only reason Pie Guy is still on the show is he's wacky. because his pies dont seem that great and his music sucks so i think he's mainly there for entertainment.

The more I watch this season, the less I like Alton. I still like him as host of Iron Chef, though! Anyway, I'm going to have to rewatch this last episode because I started drinking wine during it and got distracted.

Seriously! Bacon is such a cop-out. It adds instant flavor to anything, and omnis will basically eat EVERYTHING with the word bacon in it. It's so much more challenging to create a strong flavor profile without using the easiest ingredient ever. I'm surprised the judges haven't called him out on that yet. I've seen them do that on other shows ("Chopped" comes to mind).

Right?! I'd love to give him some broccoli and just watch the sin master have a meltdown. On the other hand....bacon probably.

I so thought Pie Guy was gonna be gone...I think they are keeping him around for the novelty factor.

Ugh. I'm so ready for Russell to get off my tv screen. He seems both arrogant and boring, and he is apparently unable to make a dish without bacon. He absolutely should have gone home.

really? despite his cliche 7 deadlly food sins, he is started to grow on me, he's like a gruff teady bear.

the pie man annoys me to no end. he's like a slightly less annoying version of guy fierri but i can see the potential in pie man to turn into guy!
