No way will they break up Pam & Jim permanently. It's a network comedy, and their relationship has always been the heart of the show. I think that's why I'm so annoyed at them having all this strife, because there is a zero percent chance the series won't end up with them happily ever after.
I also forking hate Andy. I don't know why they decided to abruptly turn him into the worst character ever.

They're pretty much recapitulating Jim & Pam: The Early Years with Erin and Pete. So they pretty much had to make Andy awful for the same reason they made Erin suddenly not a moron, and the same reason they made Roy a terrible person way back when this show was funny and not a bad soap opera.
But they should at least have Andy regressing back to anger management douchey Andy, instead of making him vindictive, manipulative and cruel Andy. He's just doesn't make sense as a character now.

yeah they really wrecked the Andy character. first they tried to make him Michael 2.0 which didnt work and now he's just a dick.
he used to be one of my favorite characters too.

That was one of the best episodes of The Office in a long time! No Andy/Pete/Erin drama and Pam/Jim drama. The scene with Andy and Kevin after eating the cupcakes was amazing.
Oh, and Dwight's band performing Sons and Daughters.

Awww gp! That's so neat.
Andy is the worst. I can't even watch him. Is anyone else outraged that some people (jdfunks) find him to be their favorite? Less Andy! More Kelly. The Decemberists cover was so awesome. My sister and I were freaking out.

I cried at the end of last night's episode. It hurt my heart.

I just feel like the Jim and Pam drama feels so artificial. Its like the writers know they're really the only ones that the audience cares about, so they're tugging at our heartstrings to be able to deliver any sort of finale that people care about.
I like Angela and Dwight. I'm glad they're going to end up together.

Yeah, even with all of the sap, it felt genuine. A full double episode that stayed in the office wasn't what I was expecting and it's probably just what the show needed. I feel like they're kind of circling back around to UK Office finale territory, spoilered for those who still haven't seen it: Andy quitting to pursue his dreams, and Dwight gets promoted is close enough. I'm becoming less convinced that Pam and Jim will split, but I'm going to keep shouting "BOOM MIC BRIAN!" every time there is a hint of marital strife. So now my unlikely Pam & Jim finale is that Pam splits from Jim so he can pursue his sports dreams and she can marry Boom Mic Brian and move to the UK.

It's pretty much downhill from that point in the series, so just be prepared.

I really liked last night's episode! I feel they are tying things up nicely. I still hate Andy though. And Angela and Dwight! Marriage! That actually made me super happy. I was confused by the dance with Darryl though, why would they want to do that with him? Is he known as an especially good dancer? And it was choreographed? Confused. I like that Jim and Pamela are back to the way things should be, I really thought they were going to split.

The look on Dwight's face when he found out he had a son! Rainn Wilson is such a good actor. I really hope Michael and Holly come back for Angela and Dwight's wedding.
Great episode. I just wish Andy hadn't been in it.

The Andy singing stuff seemed really weird and out of place. They could have skipped all of that entirely and still had him come back and join the others at Poor Richard's at the end. I mean, whatever, it was still a good episode, but there was too much Andy. Again. Like always.
Soooo happy about Dwight and Angela. I didn't know I cared that much, but it was really satisfying watching them reunite. Good stuff. I hope we see Michael next week!

The other weird thing about Andy was that he was suddenly a mediocre singer. If they spent all that time focusing on the A Capella thing I wish he would have at least succeeded. Reality show Andy could have been kind of funny.
