I loved loved loved it - and can't wait for it to come back on next year.

My favourite bit was Maggie Smith saying "What is... a weekend?".

I'm Robert, the Earl of Grantham! (?!) Anyway, we are completely addicted to Downton Abbey; we watched the second season and the Christmas special online, so we're all caught up, but now it seems like forever until the next season. That said, I'm fully prepared to get my fix by rewatching season two!

I'm apparently Mr. Bates, and yeah, I'm pretty stoked about it.

I haven't seen season two yet, so I am SO! EXCITED! about it starting on PBS this Sunday.

My sister got the first season on DVD so I just started watching it, and we're waiting on the next season to come out to watch it together (she refused to watch anything on the computer).

I'm not totally into how drama llama it is, but its worth everything to hear Maggie Smith say "stick that in your pipe and smoke it."

I'm so excited! I got sucked into it in December and watched the first season on Netflix while crafting. I liked it that way because I could watch all of them, not waiting. Now I have to wait for PBS to post them online every week. But I'll manage since I can't get enough!

season 2 is so good! you guys will love it! it got a little soap opery for matt's tastes, but i loved every stinking minute.

i do think that they make a real effort in season 2 to round out the characters a little more, which i appreciate, because obrien and thomas were getting TOO EVIL, COME ON.

i'm so excited for it to start. I know i could download it, but it's going to be on tv so soon that i'd rather just wait. this way I won't inhale it all in 2 days. i like being forced to wait a week.

We watched season 1 ep. 1 last night! So I'm not going to read through this thread, but this show is gorgeously filmed and I'm excited to have a lot of catching up to do!

'Zactly. Although it helps that I only discovered it about a month ago, so I knew I didn't have too long to wait for the next season to air here.

I'm stoked there will be more Downton Abbey to watch. I watched all of the first season when I was sick a few weeks ago. I love it! Are the episodes going to be on pbs online?

I didn't really like the second series. They tried to replace too much of the silliness (and it is silly) with plot. I don't want plot! I want hilarious mishaps and awkward misunderstandings.
