Everything about Winston is comedy gold. Does he have a medal yet for best ever?

I agree, I wasn't really paying attention but I didn't laugh at all and found it a bit annoying :(

I did enjoy the extended cat screentime. (But the cats, not Winston's human not-love-interest.)

Nick expressing his feelings at the end was pretty great too.

Same here. My friend and I kept shifting uncomfortably and saying, 'This isn't funny.'

Yeah, this one was not great. I want Nick and Jess together, but I don't want the show to focus on nothing but the two of them together and Schmidt being a crasshole.

I thought the episode was funny! I would be annoyed if the Schmidt trying to break them up thing extended into a few episodes, but I think he got the message at the end of the episode since he tried to make amends.

I think I'm over New Girl. Each week, when it pops up in my Hulu queue, I pick something else first - and not because I'm saving the best for last. Today, I was just like "whatever, I'll get it over with", and didn't make it more than 10 minutes before turning it off. Alas.

I guess Elizabeth is gone for good. I wish she was a regular, I really liked her. But they got rid of the fat girl and kept the model. Ok. And they barely had Cece on it. It feels like they've run out of ideas.

I was excited to see Riki Lindhome! Love her. I thought the episode was just okay.

Merritt Weaver is already a regular on Nurse Jackie - I don't think she was ever intended to stick around. (Although I do love her and her appearance on the show has reminded me I have to catch up with the last few seasons.)

I think that right now they're just trying to norm the whole Jess/Nick 'ship - so hopefully in time that will become less of a main plot point and they'll get back to regularly scheduled kookiness.

I have a cat named Fatty. Why is New Girl paralleling my life?

How often do you groom your cat?

-I didn't mind this week. I mean I didn't Laugh Out Loud but there were plenty of pretty funny lines in it I thought!

Wait, I thought the cat's name was Ferguson? Also, another reason they'd keep Cece is that she's Jess's best friend. She may not be in every episode, but she has been around from the beginning.

Winston's cat's name is Ferguson. The cat he was trying to set him up with was named Fatty.

Yeah, I don't think Cece is gone. She may not be around as much for a while, but that kind of makes sense since Jess does live with Schmidt. But she was Jess' friend before she was Schmidt's love interest, so I'm sure she'll stay a recurring character at least.

I didn't think the episode was awful, but I didn't find it overly funny either.

Aaaaaagreed. I did laugh at some of the Schmidt stuff tonight, though. But the hardest I laughed was right at the beginning of the episode where he was asking if he was a good person and Nick said that he was a terrible person and that it was hilarious.

When Nick grabbed Jess' purse and yelled "THIS IS DISGUSTING" I lost it.

i thought it was funny to see schmidt running down the sidewalk in LA. i was kinda hoping he'd stop, remember that he'd parked his car back the other way, and start walking back. but the running thing was funny and dramatic too!

is it bad that i identify with the nick character the most?

It's Wednesday night, where's my new TV? :( No new Mindy Project this week either, apparently... is something special on in the US...?
