It seems like they dropped the 'have her sing all the time' thing, which is good. Because like others have said, no one actually finds that cute! Which is a shame for me.

I find that cute . . . maybe because I do it too . . .

Chester finds it cute when I sing to him all the time. So far Fawkes is just baffled by the noise-making lady.

Schmidt was my favorite thing about this episode, especially the fact that he thinks holding hands is closing the deal. Haha.

So cute and his reaction to the Bird-Cat!

The Thanksgiving ep was good too, apart from all the raw turkey touching, ick. I liked Schmidt cooking all the food for them.

I didn't think it was as funny as previous episodes, but I like her little tirade in the hallway.

Omigod! I keep saying every week how it's the funniest episode, but I was dying this week! Schmidt in the kitchen is totally me...down to the gagging over somebody with unclean hands touching food. Loved it! I really like the progression of that character.

And I heart Justin Long! His character and Jess make total sense. Poor Nick.

Ooh, and her "big time" speech was the absolute best!

I think the actor who plays Paul must have studied her moments very closely...he totally had her mannerisms!

I begrudgingly watched the Thanksgiving episode with my Mom and... it's not as obnoxious as the earlier episodes. Justin Long stole the show so I hope his character continues throughout the season. The writing is picking up, too:

Schmidt: Well I can blanch or I can talk, but I can't do both!

Paul: When I was on the elevator ride from hell, the coroner told me to stop crying like a girl. I told him that was sexist.
Jess: You're right.
Paul: I am right.

Yeah, it seems like Paul might be a bit of a know-it-all, but I still love him so far!

I have a love/hate relationship with Zooey Deschanel (so adorable! so annoyingly uber-quirky!), and while I do have a couple issues with Jess' character, I am seriously loving this show. When she just got out of the car and ran away from Nick a few episodes, I died.

This episode made me laugh a lot, I liked Nick's wooden spoon soap dispenser and Winston on the bells was hilarious.

Omigod, I had to watch the fight between Schmidt and Nick several times because I was laughing so hard. The group dynamic on this show is fantastic!

this show started out really meh for me, but every episode i watch i like it more. schmidt started out so horrible (especially since i just want that guy to be leo from veronica mars all. the. time), but he's gotten much cuter.

So what happened to Paul? Hope he comes back, or at least some kind of explanation.
