i just got my 2nd tattoo yesterday.

out of curiousity does anyone know why the coloring is not even? is it my skin or bad tattooing?

Just go back for a touch up. Sometimes the ink comes out during the healing process.

I have one that had to be touched up twice right after I got it.

the one that needs retouching is 4 years old so i think i missed that window of having it done for free.

i was going to ask the girl who did my tattoo yesterday and pay her to touch it up but obviously i forgot. perhaps another time. i was just always curious if it was just my skin there.

I just got the sanskrit word for ahimsa in that exact same spot on my left arm. I also got some lettering done on my chest in almost that same font, both two weeks ago (I haven't looked in this thread in maybe six-ish months?)

We're tattoo fraternal twins! I'll post pics when I can.

I forgot to post this way back in September when it finally healed. My post-Vida Vegan Con tattoo from Silje Røe Haglund at Scapegoat!

They are hjortronbär/cloudberries, which only grow near the arctic circle in Scandinavia. It's not a very good photo because it was surprisingly and unbelievably painful to take this myself! I'll have to have a friend take a better photo. But I love it, and I really love Silje, and I can't wait to go back and have her cover me with more work!

ETA that is my right shoulder by the way

If you're referring to the spot on the left side of the heart, to me it looks like it's supposed to be mimicking light reflection. It doesn't look off to me.

Agreed. To me, it looks deliberate. Otherwise it'd just be a stamp of a heart on your arm.
