Yay! Tattoos! Those things that are too expensive for a college girl! XD I have two, but I want more soo bad! The fiance and I are taking turns, but I am next! (He just got one done a month ago) Here it iss fresh off the press!! :) I love how crisp and new it looked! XD Here is me now being a dweeb with my cellphone I also have this one on my back. The story behind the wonky shape kinda sucks. I brought in a cruddy hand drawn picture so he could get an idea of what i wanted. He then drew it up, it looked pretty awesome, so I gave the okay. So im sitting in a chair and he says, "Oh, i was looking at your picture and I really like the crudness of the outline, so I went ahead and adjusted this one to look like that." I was shocked, and didn't really know what to say! I mean I had just turned 18 and my mommy wasnt there. :( So i didn't say anything, I just sat mortified. Luckily it wasn't too bad, kinda gives it character. I love it, i really do. Even with the wonky look I still like it. I usppose I may have felt different if it were somewhere that wasn't my back. This is when it was new. It has since then faded pretty bad, the pink is almost gone. Favorite thing my friends would ask "All you need is pretzels?" XD

Louzilla wrote: fupapack wrote: $150!? Yeah. I was forking shocked when she said that. Yeah, they overcharge by so much. I think because a lot of rich, college kids can go there. I certainly can't afford them, not when I've found a great artist back home. I've also heard that a lot of the artists there tend to rush jobs and are really dismissive if they don't love your idea. I did get my nose pierced there, the woman I got was awesome. I thought since my nose piercing went so smoothly, that it would be fine, so I went back and got a guy to try and fix the spacing of one of my helix piercings, and I think he actually forked it up worse. In terms of healing. It's kind of odd right now. Also, I didn't really realize it at the time, but he pierced me in a really under the counter way. Sort of. I don't like it and may try to fix it again, the angle is off and I don't think he was truthful. Really upset. What were you doing in St. Louis, though? Next time you're in town you should let me know, and we could probably meetup.

I have some more new tattoos. Sorry for the giant images, Photobucket's new resizing seems to make the pictures blur slightly too so I figured they'd be better big! I got my Narwhal finished a couple of weeks ago, this photo was taken just after it was done so my skin looks a lot less angry now & the colours have mellowed. It's by my regular artist Woody at IN2U Brighton. This weekend was Brighton Tattoo Convention. I had an appointment booked a couple of months in advance with Kim-Anh Nguyen-Dinh from Bleak & Blue in Switzerland and we did this globe/rose/butterfly on the back of my arm. Whilst I was walking around the convention I spotted a one-off design by Iris Lys from East Side Tattoo in London and I had to claim it right there & then, because, Toast Cat!

omg. toast cat!
I still want a tattoo someday. You know what's funny. I started the original tattoo thread to talk about how I wanted a tattoo of a cat sleeping under the shade of a pineapple. I think since that still sounds appealing 7 years later, I should probably just get it.

I started saying I wanted a 'pineapple kitty' (actually, a panther pictured with a pineapple) about two years ago. Haven't gotten it though!

Thanks everyone! Toast Cat is pretty uncomfortable to sleep on but I'm still in love with her! Phoenix wrote: Love the style & colours of RoseGlobeButterfly. Thank you, I've loved the artists style for so long. It's amazing, I'm super excited to have one of her pieces on my arm! I'm considering getting her to tattoo my back piece one day. ijustdiedinside wrote: I still want a tattoo someday. You know what's funny.
