Recently I found out that listening to tunes from my childhood is so much fun. I thought it might be interesting to hear different versions of the The Smurfs theme song. ( I'm currently listening to a Smurf cd and feel like I'm 5 again)

Viens au pays des Schtroumpfs! Ahh, memories.

When I lived in France I seemed to watch a lot of Smurfs... Papa Stroumpf! Papa Stroumpf! was so cute.

It's also interesting to see the different versions of the word "smurfs". I can see how schtroumpfs and smurfen come from "smurfs" but in Czech we call them šmoulové [schmowlauveh]. I wonder if other languages that are not from the germanic family use a very different word from "smurf"
