Yes, I am sure that heart was really Katherine's heart, but from the heart box. Although, shouldnt it have been all red and glowy? Well it hadn't been crushed, so Katherine can still be alive. I am confused and I love it.

I wish the heart thing in our world was more metaphorical, bc it's bothering me that some people can live after Regina destroys or just takes their hearts but others die instantly. I guess that's the magic...?

Well, I think the heart hast to be crushed into dust (like the sherrif's and the stable boy's) for the person to die.

Whew, I am FINALLY caught up on this show. I was getting so bored with the "random fairy tale of the week" episodes but now I'm hooked back in since they started ADVANCING THE PLOT.

Yeah, Ruby screamed, and then Emma and writer guy went to see what it was..and it was Katherine looking all disheveled and confused behind the Diner.

..just something else to drag the show along...ya know. ;)

That might explain why she had her father. But she didn't want her to be called queen and the mother did. But who knows, something crazy could have happened.

We just got caught up on this! We started watching last weekend (I think) and I made Mike watch at least 2 episodes a day until we were caught up.

Also yes I loved that Regina learned the heart-ripping thing from her mother.

I think Mr Gold has something to do with Katherine coming back, considering his little speech about it not being the end (or some such). Also, I suspect that Regina got her power by killing her mother (what with the bit about Snow becoming as evil as the Queen if she killed her), and we'll see that next season. I'm so glad that episode at least resolved why she hates Snow so much. Every time she mentioned how much Snow had forked her over, I would yell "HOOOWWW?!" at the screen. And yeah, the casting for young Snow was spot on.

I didn't like the Alice in Wonderland episode so much because AiW isn't a fairy tale! So I'm pretty sure they're just using Disney cartoons as the basis for all the stories. Maybe they'll do one about the Princess and the Frog and actually have more than one person of colour in the show.

And I totally agree about David being a complete douche. What is wrong with him?!

I loved that Anya and Fred were on the show, though I don't think either of them is listed in the show's IMDb page, and they even have a different actress listed as the blind witch.

Sorry about your house getting burgled, Annieeggplant. The episodes are up on abc.com(I think) and you could watch them on your comp unless you find a friend who'll let you come over and watch.

I'm more excited about a new ep tomorrow than I thought I'd be. Usually when shows aren't on for a few weeks I lose interest, but not here.

That sucks! I watch mine on hulu anyways. Far fewer commercials.

Finally got into this, I didn't warm to it until after episode 4 but then it gets sooo good! But seriously if Emma doesn't start believing soon, it will get really annoying.

Loving the Rumpelstiltskin character and the dwarves.
Agreed with the previously mentioned fact that Charming is fearless and yet David is a wimp... so not attractive!
and the casting of little snow was very creepy but well acted!

Re the show, I forking LOVE when Regina and Gold are talking in present-day fully aware of who they are and what they did.
