Rose McGowan was spot on as a younger Cora.

Mrs Patmore from downton abbey! I feel only a tiny bit bad for regina. I mean, her mother was truly pure evil and really neede to die.
I just started watching this show about 2 weeks ago and now I'm all caught up. Addicted!

ok last night's episode added to my confusion. Did Regina bring Mary Margaret to the hospital to see "John Doe" 30 years ago?

I think that every day before Emma showed up was like "Groundhogs Day", every day the same except for tiny changes, like showing Mary Margaret David, which started changing things. I'm wondering if stuff also goes more normal after she adopts Henry, since he'd never age otherwise.

Did Henry just move from grade to grade while all the other kids (Paige, Ava, Nicholas, etc.) repeated theirs?

ok makes a little more sense now. I didn't understand how 30 years had passed from the onset of the curse to present day, with everyone remaining ageless and how Henry will fit into all of that. which remains to be seen. thanks

yeah, they didn't feel time passing until Emma showed up and the clock started moving again. It couldn't exactly be groundhog day, though, because, especially once Henry got there he must have been doing different stuff everyday. They just seemed to have a very foggy memory of what happened day to day. I knew Ethan Embry had to be someone! It couldn't have just been a coincidence and now I'm really interested in what happened to his dad. That whole episode was pretty damn heartbreaking! I'm sort of not liking how Regina is super evil again. Her evilness makes it hard to believe she even likes Henry. It was easier to believe her when she was starting to soften up a bit.

I just caught up with the last couple of eps. Last week's actually made me really sad when Cora was dying, because once she had her heart she realized that if she'd been able to love, then having Regina would have been enough for her and she wouldn't have had to devote everything to MORE POWER and missed out on what was really important. At least that's how I interpreted her last words.
And it makes more sense now why Regina adopted Henry down the road (because just like Cora, power didn't make her happy). Also the thing about the guy being the kid from the past? Soooooo predictable it hurt. I think I actually said "duh" out loud when they "revealed" it at the end of the episode.

This show is really weird about reveals. They make it super obvious during the episode and then they have the big reveal moment and you're never sure if you were supposed to have figured it out earlier or not. I think it was kind of like that with the episode with Henry's dad.
I'm really sad that it doesnt seem like Gepetto/Marco has reunited with Pinocchio.
Oh! And! I thought it was really cool when Neil/Baelfire implied that he had been with the lost boys in neverland! He should be like 200 or 300 years old, but that explains why he's not. I love when they answer my questions!

Wait, when was that? The Baelfire alluding to lost boys?

In the ep when they went to NY he said he knew capt. Hook and also said something about how he's not centuries old because our world wasn't his first stop.

I hope August returns soon, my hope is that Bael beats the crepe out of him for taking the money though. And this just occured to me, if Gold couldn't leave Storybrook until he had the enchanted scarf of Bael's, how did he leave to arrange Henry's adoption? He was the one who got him from Emma, wasn't he?

Aha! I missed that ep. Another reason why I need to go back and watch.

ndpittman, yes you have to watch that ep! it was good! Liz_D wrote: ijustdiedinside wrote: I'm really sad that it doesnt seem like Gepetto/Marco has reunited with Pinocchio.

He was the one who got him from Emma, wasn't he? i was just wondering about this, too. i'm sure we'll see Henry's origin story soon. I don't think he got Henry directly from Emma, but probably from an adoption agency. But, maybe somehow August was involved in this? He's really the only link Gold could possibly have had to the outside world and August was keeping track of Emma at the time. Getting Henry to Storybrooke would have helped August make sure that Emma got there eventually. i dunno! so many possibilities!

Poor August, at least he gets to start over. It's starting to get really similar to Walking Dead where they get rid of one side character to bring in another.
And was it just me to find it totally predictable that the two out of towners were working together?
Edited to add-
I forgot the most important thing--a whole MONTH to wait, seriously?!

Aww, that was bullshiitake that August had to start over as a little boy. But I guess they want us to want Emma and Neil/Baelfire to get back together, and they couldn't do that if August was an adult. At least Marco/Geppetto gets to have his son back from when he was a boy and do all the dad things he missed out on.
Who is Tamara?! What is she doing?! (Apart from stealing the magic or something.)

I'm sure Tamara is more than Owen/Greg's partner, I just can't figure it out. I wonder if his dad is hidden away in the 'hospital' Belle was in. Where else could Regina hide someone?

Am I going crazy (possible) but did they take the same bit from last week, the one with Owen coming into his room and seeing Regina there and she explaining her non-aging with cleanses, and repeat the whole thing this week? And I mean *exactly* the same, not like it was a different view of the same scene. Is this an editing error or my brain is on the fritz?

It wasn't in the previous episode, but it may have been in the preview at the end for the most recent episode.
