Is anyone watching this season? I'm kind of disappointed so far.

Spoiler: show
I don't care about Dana and I don't like crasshole Saul. Mandy Patinkin is always supposed to have a heart of gold.

Gawd, yes. Ugh. I'm really not feeling this season so far. I'm over Brody's family and really couldn't give half a shiitake about what's going on with them.* And where the fork is Brody? Can we not have some on-the-lam footage of him, ffs?

I agree - I'm not loving Saul this season. What he said to the new CIA woman was so off-base and, I felt, not really like him. Not to mention throwing Carrie under the bus.

My husband and I were saying that maybe it's gonna be "crazy Carrie" solving everything again and decided that that would suck because it's (obvs) already been done.

I'd also like to know what happened to Mike - he wasn't at the CIA during the explosion.

The only person I'm liking at the moment is Quinn. I didn't like him last season (until the episode where he confronted Estes), but he's pretty much the only decent character right now.

*That said, I liked what Dana said in the scene in the bathroom, that none of them are crazy.

YES, that was so out of character. I thought he was going to say something kind and encouraging to her but instead he was a big jerk.

Yeah it's unbelievably boring and I'm upset about it! I too like Peter Quinn now, and I can't believe Saul is losing my love. I don't want to see Crazy Carrie being locked up in an institution and seemingly being gaslighted; parts of last night were giving me serious blood pressure issues. It's so frustrating! And yes, let's not have Dana be the new main character, please? Watching her have sex was SUPER AWKWARD and unnecessary. Jesus.

I'm a little bored with it too but still committed. I think the gorilla in the room is where is Brody. Hopefully they are building up to something good around that.

Also do we think Dana's going to have a sexting scandal? I don't trust her boyfriend.

I can't see why we would see her take several sexty pictures unless this was going to happen. But if it does indeed, I'm going to be PISSED.

I am actually loving this season. And I kinda understand the snapped Saul, although certainly hoping he goes back to being lovable at some point.

I'm not loving it as it's lost all the tension, but I am hoping it gets better. I agree, Quinn is my new fave character right now.

Do you think Dana will become Muslim in some kind of attempt to understand/reach her father---thinking about the scene with prayer rug and the heavy focus on Dana so far.

I think this is really the problem. Also the lack of Brody.

Nah, I think that in that moment she was just trying to have some sort of connection with her father. I doubt they'll take it any further than that. It's pretty clear she thinks her dad is insane.

I was into the first 15 or 20 minutes, and then it was a snoozefest.

Tonight's ep was bo-ring...but at least there was no Dana. I just can't see where they're going with this now, and how it's going to get good again.

Who are these people holding Brody captive and do they really know Carrie? I'm super confused.

I think the "in charge" guy (not the pedo doctor) knows Carrie and was hiding Brody to help her because she had done a very big favor for him once and he owes her. When Brody tries to go off the reservation the guy's top concern becomes protecting Carrie, because if Brody is caught it could come out that Carrie helped him escape.

But now that I think about it, I really want this to happen. It would be a good way to give Dana a more interesting storyline.

I don't know, this isn't really a spoiler so much as a Dexter reference.

Spoiler: show
Did Brody go to the Hannah McKay school of fugitive disguise?

At least he changed something about his appearance. Like, anything at all. And didn't stay in DC.

Ditto. And I agree with NebraskaA - the doctor was a creep.

On a more positive note, next week looks good (or at least more interesting).

This show got so dumb. I don't want to see anymore of Carries disappointed-in-Saul-but-she-knew-this-would-happen faces. But I'll keep watching.

I definitely liked this week way more than last week. Saul KIND OF redeemed himself.

Yeah, this week was way better. There was way too much Dana though. Normally I don't mind a little check in with the Brody family, but this was way too much.

This ep was not what I thought due to the preview last week, but still, much better! Welcome back, Homeland.

Do you guys think Saul and Carrie are in on this? I felt like he was just comforting her and glad that she came to him, but that he's just using her. His bearded buddy really seems out to get Carrie.
