This isn't really either shallow or silly, since it's, oh, someone's LIFE, but I am so saddened by Macauley Caulkin's appearance and apparant serious nature of his health woes. I just wish he would get better, for himself. Saddest.

Speaking of him and what started his current issues, apparently Mila Kunis is with Ashton Kutcher now?! WHAT?! Why?

I know, ugh, Ashton Kutcher!! Have heard way too mqany tales of his womanizing ways, and really, if there was a spark there, they had all the "That '70's Show" years to act on it. I think that ship has saaaiiled, and Mila is playing a dangerous game dallying with him. But I could be so wrong!

I posted one on facebook. It's terrible (with my terrible phone). She looked fantastic but I'm just not a fan. Oh it's a clothing store; apparently she's a designer.

Robert Pattison on The Daily Show. This is pretty freaking funny if you have time to watch, I highly suggest it!

I know, I really want to see his new movie. The timing of the break-up and the movie are bad though. He is just going to get grilled on Kristen instead of the movie. But I thought he handled it pretty well.

I saw the first 10 minutes of the movie (they started the wrong one when I saw Spider-Man). I wasn't into it...but that could be because it was supposed to be Spider-Man.

Oh wow! That is a terrible fork up.

I actually really want to read the book. I went to buy it at B&N but they didn't have it, and I haven't gotten around to ordering it yet. It's probably a million times better in book form. But I'll see anything Edward is in :o)

I almost forgot! I was reading about Natalie Portman's wedding (LOVED her dress), and they said (forget where I was reading, People.com maybe?) that the menu was vegan. They also said that instead of a cake, there were macarons. Does this mean that there were VEGAN MACARONS? Do you think Natalie Portman wants to be best friends with me so we can go shopping in Paris and then have tea and macarons?

See, I think that there is some misinformation out there and that the macarons weren't vegan. Not based on anything but the fact that it's impossible to make macarons vegan. Go ahead and link me to vegan macarons and I will say the same thing.

Now we all know the internet does not lie!

The report is that she had french macaroons and an all plant based vegan menu. Maybe they were something like these? http://vegenista.com/post/811402824/fre ... rons-vegan

If only Laduree macaroons could be veganized. I don't even think mere mortals can replicate the regular ones. I had them 12 years ago; memorable.

Of course, now I'd find them completely revolting, but a vegan version? Yes, please. I don't think EnerG will do it.

I'm with LW, no way just replacing eggwhites with EnerG is going to give you a macaron.

And not to be nitpicky, but the blogger said she'd try the recipe (reblogged from another site) over a year ago, and didn't update to say ehrmagawddelicious.

The EnerG macarons work but I have no idea how the taste compares. H. Kaminsky has a recipe for them in her newer book as well, which is similar to Marika's.

Ive never even had a french macaroon, so im not disputing. But I would think that if Natalie Portman wanted vegan french macaroons for her wedding she could find someone to do it. That doesnt mean they would taste as good as the non-vegan ones though.
