I'm watching season 2 on the food network website. I haven't looked for season 1 yet.

I thought the anchovies thing was more of the combo with the egg. Also, I've never met a person who actually liked anchovies on pizza. I don't think they exist.

The first season is on Youtube, for those curious. I'm watching it, but I definitely don't like it as much as season 2 or 3.

It's like mainlining salt. I also think they might have been confused because he was using white anchovies, which look pretty different from the anchovies that usually end up on pizzas.

They are remarkable similar people. They are on a show about them being not just bad, but the worst cooks in the country, yet they cannot let go of certain ideas. I mean, that lady that got kicked off last week saying "HOW DARE HE!", the vanilla chicken woman, theres the guy whos seasoning is chilli, and after screwing up trying something else, his response was, "I'm going to go back to what I know". Too bad he won the steak thing, because everything is going to be chilli flaked beyond comprehension.
I love it.

why was she throwing salt on a fire?!?!? and why did she want to throw flour on it?!?!? i mean i guess i get it might smother it but it also seems like it would make a big burnt/charred mess! Flour is flammable and can explode. Don't ever use it on a fire. Use baking soda if you don't have an extinguisher.

I didn't like season 1 very much at first, but it turned out to be my favorite season so far. Now I'm sad that I watched them all so quickly.

I'm watching, too, as I have every season thus far. The highlight of this season has definitely been the melting "tufu" lady. I was sad to see her go. I'm thinking that the front runners are Kelli, Vinny, and Melissa.

I finished watching the first season, and like someone else said I didn't dig it at first but ended up liking it probably more than the other seasons. The contestants' personalities and interest in cooking were more interesting to watch, particularly Jenny (waitress). She's probably one of my favorite contestants of any reality show. I adore her style but I also like her drive and passion for something she initially sucked at. I was kind of disappointed in the very end, though. :/

LisaPunk wrote: im kinda sick of how negative Chef Anne is all the time :-/ I'm getting tired of her mean shick too. It's like she's trying to be any of the other numerous reality tv chefs who have patented their crasshole behavior, but she just comes off as harsh and uncaring. I feel that Gordon Ramsey actually DOES want the people on all of his crazy shows to succeed, but I don't get that from her. I had no idea who she was before this show either.

she's just really condescending. the funny thing is before this show i really didnt like Bobby Flay AT ALL but he seems kinda nice on this show and seems to actually care about teaching things to the students and cares about how they succeed
