I have been looking for an out-of-print book for ages, and I wonder if others are also, so maybe we could have a place here to post our searches and maybe the serendipity of the PPK will bring us in touch with exactly the person who has it! What do you think?
I am looking for "The seagulls woke me" by Mary Stolz. It was published in the 50s or 60s, and I have a copy of it in Italian. But I'd love to read it in the original language! So if anyone happens to find it at a used books store or languishing in your mothers' cellars...

Ohh...I can probably think of stuff I'm looking for. I can't think of anything off the top of my head right now, but I'm often looking for books that turn out to be out-of-print whereupon, if I can't borrow it from the liberry, I simply give up and resign myself to never reading it. Next time, I'll post the book I'm looking for here.

I am looking for this in either hardback or paperback, the first in the series, bridge of birds, was fantastic. sadly the 2nd one is out of print and only available in nook or other digital book form.
